So, this would be my yearly caw I make - he started as a character I used in e-feds in around 2004/2005 and he's just grown since then. He's most recently been seen in AOW and ROV. Someday he'll be seen on his channel with more than this entrance video, which I hope to get a roll on but to be quiet honest I'm just reeeeally fucking lazy. So, here's his entrance and sooner or later detailed shit will be posted in here. But I'll answer a quick questions, in case they do arise.

BRIEFING: Breaking into the scene in the summer of 2000, Alexis established himself early on as a force to be reckoned. With his anti-world title attitude, and the strong will of a lion he has time and time again proven to be one of the best of the new generation of professional wrestlers.
He saw Alexis as the future of his legacy, in a similar fashion he did with his own legitimate children, and it was for this reason that Alexis found himself thrust into the world of close quarters combat at an early age. To him, of course, this was simply a way for him to bond with the father he never knew. It started out with the basics, classes and instruction in Kenpo and Judo which would flourish later on in life into full-fledged forays into Kickboxing and beyond. By the time he had turned seven, he was a regular in most tournaments for his age-range and had also developed beyond that of Kenpo. With his father’s celebrity, and the styles rising in popularity, he found himself enthralled with ( BJJ ) Jiu Jitsu by the age of ten. His father saw a star in the making, while his mother simply watched on helplessly.
Everything in his childhood came secondary to his conditioning and preparations. While his father’s visits still remained few and infrequent, his presence was constantly felt with the constant barrage of phone calls to not only his son, but to that of the studios in which in which he was paying for. By the age of thirteen Alexis was a prime example of a child prodigy, and it was at this time he dropped out of school and began touring with his absentee father on the road. The year was 1996, and his father’s career was still booming, even as his father was approaching his mid-forties. However, the father and son duo didn’t last long, as tempers flared between the two quite often, and three months on the road with his father, he returned to Long Beach.
The stars had left Alexis’ eyes, and he was well aware of his status in his father’s eyes. He was nothing more than a prized possession. He was being buffed and shined for his eventual presentation to the world, much like that of half-siblings, and yet it seemed as though all the true affections were bestowed upon them as they were his legitimate children. With his return home, came the troubles of a rebellious youth. He rebelled at home, and he rebelled at school. At least once a month he would find himself within the juvenile detention center, and it wasn’t until he turned fourteen that his life seemed to turn around. With the urging of his mother, Alexis took an invested interest in the extracurricular sports activities that his school had to offer.
With his juvenile background in the world of mixed martial arts, Alexis easily transitioned into that of the world of scholastic wrestling. His sophomore and junior year, he set several pin records as well as bring two championship titles to his school in his weight class ( 160 LBS ). His senior year, however, his time was split between that of his duties to the wrestling team, and his swelling interest in the art of professional wrestling -- which seemed to grow despite the sour taste his father had left in his mouth. The only fondness he had for his father was that of the stories he had been told his father’s time abroad, most notably in Japan. It was within this time that Alexis also returned to the world of mixed martial arts, and the dedication to this ended his scholastic amateur wrestling career.
By the age of eighteen he was on speaking terms with his father -- if only to help get his foot in the door overseas. With graduation came the chance of a lifetime; training at the famous Hart Dungeon. While he had been dabbling in wrestling since the age of thirteen, when he had first gone on the road with his father, his first match hadn’t been until the age of sixteen for a local promotion. It had lasted six seconds, as he was simply used as enhancement talent to put over a monster character. He jumped at the chance to be professionally trained, and through his training under Keith and Bruce Hart, and with his father’s influence and name, he found his way into Japan by the end of 2001.
While he had only been training under The Hart Brothers for a few months, his travel to Japan brought on several new challenges. While Alexander was some what fluent in conversational Japanese through his schooling, it was difficult for him to keep up with the pacing of conversations. He worked feverishly in several different independent organizations within the company, and for the most part he was used as nothing more than enhancement talent. He used his times coming up in the ranks to engorge himself with the Japanese culture, and in turn fall in love with it. But it wasn’t until Kensuke Sasaki took an invested interest in Alexis’ style that he was actually brought onboard to New Japan Pro Wrestling. For the early part of 2002, he was relatively unused.
Setup and teardown was his specialty, along with dealing the menial tasks the mainstays placed upon him. It wasn’t until he reunited with a close friend of his father’s ( Keiji Mutoh ), that Alexander’s stock in the promotion began to rise. Kensuke and Mutoh crafted Alexander behind the scenes, and helped to harness the innate talent that sweltered inside of him. Mutoh took on the more hands on approach, while Kensuke simply brokered him to management. Inoki soon came around to the idea, and with a big of repacking, he was introduced to the public as ‘The Morningstar’. Brash, violent, and technically sound, he was an instant hit amongst the live audiences. The gimmick soon evolved, taking into account his own name and he became known as, “Alexis Morningstar”.
The gimmick was a complete 180 from the character tha had been presented to the crowd previously. The dark motifs, the violent style, they were all dropped in favor of a more lucha involved style. Alexis' technical prowess began to take a backseat to the more flashy character that was being repackaged and reintroduced to the japanese audience at large. His attires were now heavily infleunced by the japanese culture in which he loved, and more often than not he goofed around with the crowd before and after his matches. He was seen as a live event attraction rather than an legitimate competitor. He simply viewed this as paying his dues, and soon enough it paid off.
It was during this period of time that he was introduced to another gaijin wrestler by the name of Logan McManus. While he didn't intially like the big man, their pairing become some what of an overnight sensation. The two were vastly different in their approaching ( Alexis being a Junior Heavyweight, and McManus a Super ), but the chemistry between the two was simply dynamic. They were a main stay in tag team matches, but at the same time it seemed as though both men were stock in limbo when it came to title contention within the organization. Soon enough the decision was made to break up the pairing, and in the process Alexis returned to his darker persona and Logan found himself pushed further and further down the ladder.
By the end of 2001, and the early portion of 2002 Alexander's stay within NJPW would come to end. While there were several promises made to him regarding his future in the promotion, he decided to take a step away from the company, mutually parting ways so that he could, in his own words, 'define himself' amongst those around him.
2002 brought on a redefinition of the values in which defined him, but at the same time it brought more hardships. With the birth of his first daughter, the drive to succeed was heavy on his mind. This brought upon his signing to an upstart promotion owned by a close friend of the family, Norman Cantrall. PRO-WRESTLING BETA was set to take the world, and more specifically, Japan, by storm. It was a solid mixture of all the styles one could find, fused together in a format that the Japanese audience would be familiar with. Norman was sold on bringing Alexis in, if only for the namesake value that came with the signing. While he had not been a star in New Japan, he was definitely a name that he could market to the industry at large.
The in-house roster we kept relatively small, with a large influx of guest and special attraction talent helping with the balk of the undercard. It wasn't long before the promotion became popular, and it's fresh and revitalizing the outlook on the Strong Style traditions that were a mainstay in the culture. It was out of this hybrid that PRO-WRESTLING BETA thrived, and where the seeds of his future were planted. The dark overtones of his character that had been developed in New Japan found their room to grow within PRO-WRESTLING BETA. With top billing in the Junior Heavyweight division, it wasn't long until he fighting some of the biggest guest stars that Japan had to offer, and soon enough, Alexis was viewed as one of them.
His defining moment, however, came during the fall of 2003. MONROE had been riding the wave of a win streak that had spanned six months when the world came crashing down around him. The surprise entrance of Seiya Nikaido to BETA proved to be a challenge. The native had recently returned from a learning excursion to Mexico, and in his debut match, in what have many have viewed as one of the most shocking upsets in PWB history, he not only defeated Alexis Morningstar, but he knocked him out cold. Immediately, the following episode he was granted a rematch, but once again was unsuccessful in defeating the hard hitting SEIYA.
In what was definitely a sign of things to come, following the match Alexis went absolutely ballistic. Not only attacking SEIYA, but any and all officials ringside for the bout. His actions forced the hand of management, and he was banned from the promotion for a month. However, this did not stop him from engaging in a heated feud upon his return against SEIYA. The two were at each other's throats for the better part of 2003, and with once the new year had passed, Alexis had gone 0 - 4 against the native in singles bouts, holding a single tag team victory over him through distractions. It wasn't until the spring of '04 that he broke down and gave into SEIYA, admitting that he was the better man.
This brought upon a surprising partnership, and soon enough the powerhouse tag team of I, EMPIRE was formed within BETA. They took an all challenges, and more often than not they prevailed. Alexis seemed as though he was slowly shedding his dark demeanor, and that change was on the horizon. With the summer of '04 approaching, enjoying a heavy push, they were booked to face off against guest superstars Gedo and Jado, the current IWHP Junor Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. With the belts on the line, it was time for I, EMPIRE to show the rest of the japan what the teaming had to offer. After a back and forth match, it seemed as though I, EMPIRE had the match won, but that is when Morningstar betrayed SEIYA.
With Jado knocked out cold on the outside, and Gedo within SEIYA's clutches, the match was all but one. That's when Alexis' turned on his partner. As SEIYA was stalking Gedo, waiting to hit his trademark headkick, he was blasted by a headkick from Alexis. Gedo wasted no time in pinning SEIYA as Alexis backed his way up the ramp, his eyes never leaving that of his fallen tag team partner. Their feud once again reignited, and with the end of the summer of '04, the two would meet in the ring for one more match. It was in that match that Alexis Morningstar finally found victory over SEIYA, and in bittersweet fashion, was able to knock SEIYA out in the process. That would be Alexis' last match within the promotion.
With his strong wrestling background, and flair for striking, Alexis transitioned smoothly from BETA into that of VIOLENTIA. The promotion was different from those he had worked in before, as it was first and foremost a shoot wrestling promotion that dabbled in professional wrestling bouts. This was the main draw, as he was looking to work on his own skill set. The challenge he was looking for was the challenge he found. In his first three shoot bouts, he went 0-3, all three of which by decision. The fourth bout saw him lose via knock out. It was during this time that he found a strong respect for the fighting spirit of Japan, and it was his time in VIOLENTIA PRO that solidified his love for the country in which he would later call home.
'05 brought change, and with that change came confidence. His first bout that year was won via submission, and the following three would be won in a similar fashion. Alexis had quickly realized that all of his own wrestling credentials meant nothing when it came to the world of shoot wrestling. He had to adapt, evolve, and learn the in's and out's of the different styles. It was during this time that he dove head first back into disciplining himself in the martial arts. With this new found focus, Alexis pushed himself to be the very best that he could be, and it it paid off in the end. By the time he parted ways with the organization he held a record of 13-5-2 in shoot bouts. Seven of which had came by submission, four by knock out, and one via decision.
This federation marked the return of Alexis Morningstar to the united states, which made him a relative unknown once again. He however, had one person in his corner upon starting the company; his cousin Ricky Rourke. The two at first seemed to dominate at tag-team promos, and the ranks as well, that is until a shot at the TVX Title was up for grabs. Then true, to Alexis' colors he turned on his cousin. Ricky Rourke had hit his finisher on the third person in their triple threat, and need only to cover the person. As he did so, Alexis Morningstar slipped back into the ring and pushed him out, stealing the win.
This started a rather lengthy feud between the two which went on for quite some time until Ricky Rourke finally one-uped Alexis and won a ladder match which granted him a title shot at the TVX title a later moment in time. But that shot would never be granted, as instead then TVX champion; Kyle Heaven vacated the title. With that, a scramble cage match was held, which showed Ricky Rourke's ribs being shattered at the hands of his cousin, and Alexis Morningstar leaving the match with the TVX Title, and the first title of his career. But the championship glory was short lived, as then new comer Jake Seven pose a threat to the title.
Jake Seven wasn't the problem, then a man by the name of Rik Raines showed up in CWA. A multiple world champion, he was seeking to extend his reigns in to CWA, but it was Alexis that choose to step up to the man and verbally 'put him in his place' this lead up to CWA's biggest pay-per-view of the year; Battle of Brittan which saw Alexis fight in his own concept match for the title. Alexis seemingly had the title in his hands when Rik Raines interrupted the match and took Alexis out, giving Jake Seven the TVX Title. With that, Alexis was asked to step out of the division by the owner; Timothy Draven and look for bigger fish.
This, brought Alexis entrance into 'The Syndicate' a historic group in CWA-BWA History. This line-up, however seemed to be all fresh blood when it came to the former members; the former leader being gone from the company, his lackey, by the name of Donzig took over in his place. It wasn't long before the life of a stable member got to Alexis as he didn't feel the need to place second fiddle to anyone, he took his leave from 'The Syndicate' during a tournament to crown contenders for the British Title and the World Title. It all boiled down to Alexis making it to the finals, and losing to Donzig.
Alexis quickly stepped away from CWA for quite some time, to pursue other ventures in the world of Independent Wrestling, but once again found himself returning to sue the company, and then steal the World Heavyweight Title during a ladder match to the determine the champion. But once more, Alexis vanished from this promotion, this time never to return...
Alexis Morningstar seemed to be linked to any sort of controversy found inside of IEO in recent months. As during his first stay inside the global company he found himself at odds backstage with many of the staff members, along with many of the talent. Most viewed him as a prima donna, as most were unaware of his background throughout the world. When he first joined, he was joined once again by his Cousin Ricky Rourke, who had already been a member of the roster, and his close friend Angel Felicity . The three lit up the screen, as rumors of Sports Entertainment Xtreme coming to IEO were rolling through the locker room like a wild fire, but then it suddenly died.
Once again, backstage rivalries got the best of the three superstars, and the seemingly went their separate ways inside of the company. Alexis, however found himself chasing after the X title, as he found the division to be highly cliché as it seemed as though every promotion had copied off of TNA and added an X-Division to their company. This feud seemed to light a fire in the division, as he chased after then champion Clark Santos. Many are quite sure Alexis would have won if he had not let the backstage politics of the company take their hold on him. The night before the pay-per-view Alexis informed key staff members that it would be his last appearance inside of IEO, and in turn did the job to Clark Santos on his way out.
It would be nearly a year later that Alexis Morningstar returned to the newly re-opened Insane Entertainment Online and when he did, he took the spot he had once left. But there was a new person who had seemingly taken his former spot as company loud mouth; Michael James. Although the superstar didn't have the mic skills of Alexis, he certainly knew how to push buttons and this brought Alexis into a short-lived feud with him. Somehow, by a twist of fate Michael James had found himself as the Insane Champion, something that had boiled Alexis' blood from the moment he witnessed him wave the title in the air, and then he was on a mission to prove something.
When he approached Michael James for a title shot, he was shot down. So instead, Alexis found himself speaking to owner, Gregory Helms, for a singles match against Michael James. The Match came and went and Alexis Morningstar destroyed Michael James and took the Insane title with him after the match. The two went on to feud for quite some time, before in a controversial fashion Michael James defeated Alexander Monroe to retain the Insane Title.
Alexis took a bit of a hiatus, to re-focus himself. Upon his return, he chased after the Insane Title once more. This time, turning his on his best friend; Logan McManus. The two feuded for quite some time, before Alexis got his hands on his first Insane Title reign. He went on to defend the belt a few times before the company seemingly went on 'hiatus'. During such, Alexis went from the name Alexis to Alexander. Taking up his family's identity, and returning to IEO hell bent on winning the title.
And with his return, it wasn't long until his second title reign would begin. However, the event would be bittersweet, as soon enough IEO's doors would close for the last time.
At the very start of this company, it was something special. Located in Alexis' stomping grounds of California, Alexis instantly took a shining to it, as in the first card he was amongst a main even that boasted two main event wrestlers; Brock Lesnar and David Batista, and Alexis showed them all one he got the win over the two. This would be start of the Cinderella story of the Alexis Morningstar most have come to know. Alexis found the company to be his second home, as he went on a rather lengthy undefeated streak until finally losing at the hands of The Rated R Superstar, Edge, who caught Alexis from behind and rolled him up in an Elimination Chamber match to determine the first UCW Heavyweight Champion.
Alexis was furious, as he prides himself on pure victories, and this brought Alexis into a feud with none other than the Rated R Superstar Edge. The feud last a month or so, until their next meeting, when once again Edge used dirty tactics in the form of his manager blasting Alexis in the face with the title belt to pick up the win. With that, Alexis slowly had himself wrote off of TV due to the fact he was furious with losing to the same man twice, something that hadn't happened to him throughout his career. It was soon after that, that the company went under.
At the recommendation of a friend [Christian Carnage], Alexis Morningstar signed a contract with WHA. He has formed an alliance with Jason Krow, in the form of the faction Los Illuminados. The team debuted, after Alexis successfully made his way into the finals for the X Division title match. Alexis' debut in WHA made shock waves through the company, as by the end of the match Los Illuminados was standing tall. Soon after their emergence, The WHA faded.
A rather small time company which was brought to the attention of Alexis Morningstar by former CWA Competitor, Chris James. The two teamed up in Alexis first match in the company and took a tainted win of the World Champion and the Women's Champion in a tag team match. The following show, they destroyed one half-of the tag team champions and simply walked out of the company...
A fresh chapter, in the book that is Alexis Morningstar is the highly controversial GWO. Alexis started in GWO in a tournament to garner the number one contender for the GWO World Title at their first return PPV G-VOLUTIONIST. Members of the roster had been asked to campaign before the tournament, the two members that had the best campaigns were chosen to fight for the title at the night of the PPV. Ryan McKenzie, a good friend of Alexis' was one of the winners, and a woman by the name of Laura was the other. After being named a number one contender, Ryan McKenzie faced Alexis Morningstar on the first card and lost.
Then the following week, Laura also lost to Alexis Morningstar which raised a question; why was he even competing in the tournament if he had already beaten the two competitors competing for the title? He went on to beat a man by the name of Ravage in the finals and at the PPV he was added as a third man in an odd title match. To win the title, you had to climb to the top of the cage and hit a button. Alexis did so, but Ryan McKenzie won the match and the title. Alexis had his first 'loss' but he had yet to be pinned, and in his eyes he thought he would be the next in line for the title.
But even after beating Laura and Ryan McKenzie, he was ushered into a lower division in favor of giving Laura a shot at the World Title which she won. Alexis went on to win the GWO North American Title, but vacated it a week later after problems backstage with co-workers. He returned briefly a week later, getting into a fight with management before getting fired.
Alexander came into the company with all the momentum in the world. He went undefeated during his stay in the company, other than a match that he no showed. He was the 2009 J-Cup Winner, and would have gone on to win the World Title if things hadn't arisen outside of the world of Professional Wrestling for Alexander Monroe. However, with the relaunching of Full Force Pro, Alexander Monroe came back fresh and ready to go. In his return match, he defeated Genocide -- the same man he had beat in the finals of the J-Cup Tournament nearly a year before hand. With this victory ushered in an era within the company that saw nothing short of total domination from the superstar.
Capturing several different titles during his stay with in FFP, many have argued that, until All Original Wrestling, FFP was the defining moment of Alexander's career stateside.
After taking an extended vacation from the North American wrestling scene, 2011 saw him return stateside with a whole new attitude. At the urging from various road agents, Alexander Monroe was signed to a contract with the upstart promotion AOW. His first few matches were ones of relative obscurity. While he was willing to work with, and more often than not put over the talents around him, it was his form on the microphone that caught the attention of those around him. It wasn't long until the top talents within the company took notice, and one of those men was Vernon Pryce. A fanatical heel, he soon found himself at the top of the pyramid of power within the company as his faction, Divine Power, had set it's sights on total domination of the industry. Soon enough, the gathering of men ( Nic Virtue, and Vernon Pryce ) brought Monroe within it's fold, and from that day forward there was simply no need to look back. Early on in the factions life-span, Vernon Pryce seemingly vanished from the spotlight, but that didn't stop the other two men from shining.
While a member of Divine Power, Monroe found his way to a Tag Team Championship reign as well as that of a Junior Heavyweight championship reign, but as the team climbed higher their egos seemed to inflate to overwhelming heights. It wasn't long before Nic Virute and Monroe simply could no longer exist, and it was in that moment that the two men lost their coveted Tag Team titles. The two would feud until Unknown Heights, when the surprise return of Vernon Pryce would throw a wildcard into the mix, as he returned and attacked his former stablemates for seemingly no apparent reason. The three men would go onto feud until the next PPV which saw Alexander Monroe stand tall at the end of a Steel Cage match, and with that win gave him the number one contendership spot for the AOW World Heavyweight Championship. It was during this time, that Monroe truly grew into his own in the company, and that he was viewed as a legitimate threat, beating former champion Justin Tyme in the process.
The current champion was that of Damian, who Monroe was no stranger to. During Divine Power's run at the top of the tag team division, they had faced Damian several times with his tag team partner Jonny D. On all three of the occasions Divine Power had taken the victory, and in this manner Monroe did not fear his opponent. Several times he simply pointed out to the man that he was at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and that he was nothing more than a placeholder until his own reign would begin. However, Damian proved not only Monroe wrong, but his own skeptics, with his first title defense which saw him go toe-to-toe with Alexander, and after a grueling bout, retain the title. However, after the match it seemed as though Monroe's weeks and weeks of mind games had taken their toll on the champion, as he brutally attacked his challenger at the end of the show. Monroe would not be seen for a week, and when he returned, he returned with rage in his heart.
During Showdown, Alexander, along with several hooded figures brutally attacked Damian, leaving him in a pool of his own blood. These attacks continued until a rematch was slated for the next PPV, and it was on that day that Alexander Monroe ascended to the highest heights of the company, and captured the AOW World Heavyweight championship. He would, however, not see a defense. After several shows, the company went into a hiatus, and eventually, closed it's doors for good.
With the folding of All Original Wrestling, a new opportunity was brought to MONROE's attention, that of the new upstart PRO-WRESTLING REVOLUTION. With a staff mostly comprised of people MONROE had worked with before, it was almost a lock that he would sign with the company; and he did. With the first televised programming on the horizon, MONROE has his sights set on that of the PWR Heavyweight Championship, but first he'll have to get through a list of hungry competitors, including his best friend, Ryan Cavallari, in the companies inaugural championship tournament.
At the urging of his close friend, Ryan Cavallari, MONROE has signed a contract with the world renowned promotion. His time in this promotion, however, did not last long. Almost as soon as he joined, he was out the door due to commitments with another organization.

BRIEFING: Breaking into the scene in the summer of 2000, Alexis established himself early on as a force to be reckoned. With his anti-world title attitude, and the strong will of a lion he has time and time again proven to be one of the best of the new generation of professional wrestlers.
He saw Alexis as the future of his legacy, in a similar fashion he did with his own legitimate children, and it was for this reason that Alexis found himself thrust into the world of close quarters combat at an early age. To him, of course, this was simply a way for him to bond with the father he never knew. It started out with the basics, classes and instruction in Kenpo and Judo which would flourish later on in life into full-fledged forays into Kickboxing and beyond. By the time he had turned seven, he was a regular in most tournaments for his age-range and had also developed beyond that of Kenpo. With his father’s celebrity, and the styles rising in popularity, he found himself enthralled with ( BJJ ) Jiu Jitsu by the age of ten. His father saw a star in the making, while his mother simply watched on helplessly.
Everything in his childhood came secondary to his conditioning and preparations. While his father’s visits still remained few and infrequent, his presence was constantly felt with the constant barrage of phone calls to not only his son, but to that of the studios in which in which he was paying for. By the age of thirteen Alexis was a prime example of a child prodigy, and it was at this time he dropped out of school and began touring with his absentee father on the road. The year was 1996, and his father’s career was still booming, even as his father was approaching his mid-forties. However, the father and son duo didn’t last long, as tempers flared between the two quite often, and three months on the road with his father, he returned to Long Beach.
The stars had left Alexis’ eyes, and he was well aware of his status in his father’s eyes. He was nothing more than a prized possession. He was being buffed and shined for his eventual presentation to the world, much like that of half-siblings, and yet it seemed as though all the true affections were bestowed upon them as they were his legitimate children. With his return home, came the troubles of a rebellious youth. He rebelled at home, and he rebelled at school. At least once a month he would find himself within the juvenile detention center, and it wasn’t until he turned fourteen that his life seemed to turn around. With the urging of his mother, Alexis took an invested interest in the extracurricular sports activities that his school had to offer.
With his juvenile background in the world of mixed martial arts, Alexis easily transitioned into that of the world of scholastic wrestling. His sophomore and junior year, he set several pin records as well as bring two championship titles to his school in his weight class ( 160 LBS ). His senior year, however, his time was split between that of his duties to the wrestling team, and his swelling interest in the art of professional wrestling -- which seemed to grow despite the sour taste his father had left in his mouth. The only fondness he had for his father was that of the stories he had been told his father’s time abroad, most notably in Japan. It was within this time that Alexis also returned to the world of mixed martial arts, and the dedication to this ended his scholastic amateur wrestling career.
By the age of eighteen he was on speaking terms with his father -- if only to help get his foot in the door overseas. With graduation came the chance of a lifetime; training at the famous Hart Dungeon. While he had been dabbling in wrestling since the age of thirteen, when he had first gone on the road with his father, his first match hadn’t been until the age of sixteen for a local promotion. It had lasted six seconds, as he was simply used as enhancement talent to put over a monster character. He jumped at the chance to be professionally trained, and through his training under Keith and Bruce Hart, and with his father’s influence and name, he found his way into Japan by the end of 2001.
While he had only been training under The Hart Brothers for a few months, his travel to Japan brought on several new challenges. While Alexander was some what fluent in conversational Japanese through his schooling, it was difficult for him to keep up with the pacing of conversations. He worked feverishly in several different independent organizations within the company, and for the most part he was used as nothing more than enhancement talent. He used his times coming up in the ranks to engorge himself with the Japanese culture, and in turn fall in love with it. But it wasn’t until Kensuke Sasaki took an invested interest in Alexis’ style that he was actually brought onboard to New Japan Pro Wrestling. For the early part of 2002, he was relatively unused.
Setup and teardown was his specialty, along with dealing the menial tasks the mainstays placed upon him. It wasn’t until he reunited with a close friend of his father’s ( Keiji Mutoh ), that Alexander’s stock in the promotion began to rise. Kensuke and Mutoh crafted Alexander behind the scenes, and helped to harness the innate talent that sweltered inside of him. Mutoh took on the more hands on approach, while Kensuke simply brokered him to management. Inoki soon came around to the idea, and with a big of repacking, he was introduced to the public as ‘The Morningstar’. Brash, violent, and technically sound, he was an instant hit amongst the live audiences. The gimmick soon evolved, taking into account his own name and he became known as, “Alexis Morningstar”.
The gimmick was a complete 180 from the character tha had been presented to the crowd previously. The dark motifs, the violent style, they were all dropped in favor of a more lucha involved style. Alexis' technical prowess began to take a backseat to the more flashy character that was being repackaged and reintroduced to the japanese audience at large. His attires were now heavily infleunced by the japanese culture in which he loved, and more often than not he goofed around with the crowd before and after his matches. He was seen as a live event attraction rather than an legitimate competitor. He simply viewed this as paying his dues, and soon enough it paid off.
It was during this period of time that he was introduced to another gaijin wrestler by the name of Logan McManus. While he didn't intially like the big man, their pairing become some what of an overnight sensation. The two were vastly different in their approaching ( Alexis being a Junior Heavyweight, and McManus a Super ), but the chemistry between the two was simply dynamic. They were a main stay in tag team matches, but at the same time it seemed as though both men were stock in limbo when it came to title contention within the organization. Soon enough the decision was made to break up the pairing, and in the process Alexis returned to his darker persona and Logan found himself pushed further and further down the ladder.
By the end of 2001, and the early portion of 2002 Alexander's stay within NJPW would come to end. While there were several promises made to him regarding his future in the promotion, he decided to take a step away from the company, mutually parting ways so that he could, in his own words, 'define himself' amongst those around him.
PRO-WRESTLING BETA
2002 brought on a redefinition of the values in which defined him, but at the same time it brought more hardships. With the birth of his first daughter, the drive to succeed was heavy on his mind. This brought upon his signing to an upstart promotion owned by a close friend of the family, Norman Cantrall. PRO-WRESTLING BETA was set to take the world, and more specifically, Japan, by storm. It was a solid mixture of all the styles one could find, fused together in a format that the Japanese audience would be familiar with. Norman was sold on bringing Alexis in, if only for the namesake value that came with the signing. While he had not been a star in New Japan, he was definitely a name that he could market to the industry at large.
The in-house roster we kept relatively small, with a large influx of guest and special attraction talent helping with the balk of the undercard. It wasn't long before the promotion became popular, and it's fresh and revitalizing the outlook on the Strong Style traditions that were a mainstay in the culture. It was out of this hybrid that PRO-WRESTLING BETA thrived, and where the seeds of his future were planted. The dark overtones of his character that had been developed in New Japan found their room to grow within PRO-WRESTLING BETA. With top billing in the Junior Heavyweight division, it wasn't long until he fighting some of the biggest guest stars that Japan had to offer, and soon enough, Alexis was viewed as one of them.
His defining moment, however, came during the fall of 2003. MONROE had been riding the wave of a win streak that had spanned six months when the world came crashing down around him. The surprise entrance of Seiya Nikaido to BETA proved to be a challenge. The native had recently returned from a learning excursion to Mexico, and in his debut match, in what have many have viewed as one of the most shocking upsets in PWB history, he not only defeated Alexis Morningstar, but he knocked him out cold. Immediately, the following episode he was granted a rematch, but once again was unsuccessful in defeating the hard hitting SEIYA.
In what was definitely a sign of things to come, following the match Alexis went absolutely ballistic. Not only attacking SEIYA, but any and all officials ringside for the bout. His actions forced the hand of management, and he was banned from the promotion for a month. However, this did not stop him from engaging in a heated feud upon his return against SEIYA. The two were at each other's throats for the better part of 2003, and with once the new year had passed, Alexis had gone 0 - 4 against the native in singles bouts, holding a single tag team victory over him through distractions. It wasn't until the spring of '04 that he broke down and gave into SEIYA, admitting that he was the better man.
This brought upon a surprising partnership, and soon enough the powerhouse tag team of I, EMPIRE was formed within BETA. They took an all challenges, and more often than not they prevailed. Alexis seemed as though he was slowly shedding his dark demeanor, and that change was on the horizon. With the summer of '04 approaching, enjoying a heavy push, they were booked to face off against guest superstars Gedo and Jado, the current IWHP Junor Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. With the belts on the line, it was time for I, EMPIRE to show the rest of the japan what the teaming had to offer. After a back and forth match, it seemed as though I, EMPIRE had the match won, but that is when Morningstar betrayed SEIYA.
With Jado knocked out cold on the outside, and Gedo within SEIYA's clutches, the match was all but one. That's when Alexis' turned on his partner. As SEIYA was stalking Gedo, waiting to hit his trademark headkick, he was blasted by a headkick from Alexis. Gedo wasted no time in pinning SEIYA as Alexis backed his way up the ramp, his eyes never leaving that of his fallen tag team partner. Their feud once again reignited, and with the end of the summer of '04, the two would meet in the ring for one more match. It was in that match that Alexis Morningstar finally found victory over SEIYA, and in bittersweet fashion, was able to knock SEIYA out in the process. That would be Alexis' last match within the promotion.
VIOLENTIA PRO
With his strong wrestling background, and flair for striking, Alexis transitioned smoothly from BETA into that of VIOLENTIA. The promotion was different from those he had worked in before, as it was first and foremost a shoot wrestling promotion that dabbled in professional wrestling bouts. This was the main draw, as he was looking to work on his own skill set. The challenge he was looking for was the challenge he found. In his first three shoot bouts, he went 0-3, all three of which by decision. The fourth bout saw him lose via knock out. It was during this time that he found a strong respect for the fighting spirit of Japan, and it was his time in VIOLENTIA PRO that solidified his love for the country in which he would later call home.
'05 brought change, and with that change came confidence. His first bout that year was won via submission, and the following three would be won in a similar fashion. Alexis had quickly realized that all of his own wrestling credentials meant nothing when it came to the world of shoot wrestling. He had to adapt, evolve, and learn the in's and out's of the different styles. It was during this time that he dove head first back into disciplining himself in the martial arts. With this new found focus, Alexis pushed himself to be the very best that he could be, and it it paid off in the end. By the time he parted ways with the organization he held a record of 13-5-2 in shoot bouts. Seven of which had came by submission, four by knock out, and one via decision.
CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING ALLIANCE
This federation marked the return of Alexis Morningstar to the united states, which made him a relative unknown once again. He however, had one person in his corner upon starting the company; his cousin Ricky Rourke. The two at first seemed to dominate at tag-team promos, and the ranks as well, that is until a shot at the TVX Title was up for grabs. Then true, to Alexis' colors he turned on his cousin. Ricky Rourke had hit his finisher on the third person in their triple threat, and need only to cover the person. As he did so, Alexis Morningstar slipped back into the ring and pushed him out, stealing the win.
This started a rather lengthy feud between the two which went on for quite some time until Ricky Rourke finally one-uped Alexis and won a ladder match which granted him a title shot at the TVX title a later moment in time. But that shot would never be granted, as instead then TVX champion; Kyle Heaven vacated the title. With that, a scramble cage match was held, which showed Ricky Rourke's ribs being shattered at the hands of his cousin, and Alexis Morningstar leaving the match with the TVX Title, and the first title of his career. But the championship glory was short lived, as then new comer Jake Seven pose a threat to the title.
Jake Seven wasn't the problem, then a man by the name of Rik Raines showed up in CWA. A multiple world champion, he was seeking to extend his reigns in to CWA, but it was Alexis that choose to step up to the man and verbally 'put him in his place' this lead up to CWA's biggest pay-per-view of the year; Battle of Brittan which saw Alexis fight in his own concept match for the title. Alexis seemingly had the title in his hands when Rik Raines interrupted the match and took Alexis out, giving Jake Seven the TVX Title. With that, Alexis was asked to step out of the division by the owner; Timothy Draven and look for bigger fish.
This, brought Alexis entrance into 'The Syndicate' a historic group in CWA-BWA History. This line-up, however seemed to be all fresh blood when it came to the former members; the former leader being gone from the company, his lackey, by the name of Donzig took over in his place. It wasn't long before the life of a stable member got to Alexis as he didn't feel the need to place second fiddle to anyone, he took his leave from 'The Syndicate' during a tournament to crown contenders for the British Title and the World Title. It all boiled down to Alexis making it to the finals, and losing to Donzig.
Alexis quickly stepped away from CWA for quite some time, to pursue other ventures in the world of Independent Wrestling, but once again found himself returning to sue the company, and then steal the World Heavyweight Title during a ladder match to the determine the champion. But once more, Alexis vanished from this promotion, this time never to return...
INSANE ENTERTAINMENT ONLINE
Alexis Morningstar seemed to be linked to any sort of controversy found inside of IEO in recent months. As during his first stay inside the global company he found himself at odds backstage with many of the staff members, along with many of the talent. Most viewed him as a prima donna, as most were unaware of his background throughout the world. When he first joined, he was joined once again by his Cousin Ricky Rourke, who had already been a member of the roster, and his close friend Angel Felicity . The three lit up the screen, as rumors of Sports Entertainment Xtreme coming to IEO were rolling through the locker room like a wild fire, but then it suddenly died.
Once again, backstage rivalries got the best of the three superstars, and the seemingly went their separate ways inside of the company. Alexis, however found himself chasing after the X title, as he found the division to be highly cliché as it seemed as though every promotion had copied off of TNA and added an X-Division to their company. This feud seemed to light a fire in the division, as he chased after then champion Clark Santos. Many are quite sure Alexis would have won if he had not let the backstage politics of the company take their hold on him. The night before the pay-per-view Alexis informed key staff members that it would be his last appearance inside of IEO, and in turn did the job to Clark Santos on his way out.
It would be nearly a year later that Alexis Morningstar returned to the newly re-opened Insane Entertainment Online and when he did, he took the spot he had once left. But there was a new person who had seemingly taken his former spot as company loud mouth; Michael James. Although the superstar didn't have the mic skills of Alexis, he certainly knew how to push buttons and this brought Alexis into a short-lived feud with him. Somehow, by a twist of fate Michael James had found himself as the Insane Champion, something that had boiled Alexis' blood from the moment he witnessed him wave the title in the air, and then he was on a mission to prove something.
When he approached Michael James for a title shot, he was shot down. So instead, Alexis found himself speaking to owner, Gregory Helms, for a singles match against Michael James. The Match came and went and Alexis Morningstar destroyed Michael James and took the Insane title with him after the match. The two went on to feud for quite some time, before in a controversial fashion Michael James defeated Alexander Monroe to retain the Insane Title.
Alexis took a bit of a hiatus, to re-focus himself. Upon his return, he chased after the Insane Title once more. This time, turning his on his best friend; Logan McManus. The two feuded for quite some time, before Alexis got his hands on his first Insane Title reign. He went on to defend the belt a few times before the company seemingly went on 'hiatus'. During such, Alexis went from the name Alexis to Alexander. Taking up his family's identity, and returning to IEO hell bent on winning the title.
And with his return, it wasn't long until his second title reign would begin. However, the event would be bittersweet, as soon enough IEO's doors would close for the last time.
ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
At the very start of this company, it was something special. Located in Alexis' stomping grounds of California, Alexis instantly took a shining to it, as in the first card he was amongst a main even that boasted two main event wrestlers; Brock Lesnar and David Batista, and Alexis showed them all one he got the win over the two. This would be start of the Cinderella story of the Alexis Morningstar most have come to know. Alexis found the company to be his second home, as he went on a rather lengthy undefeated streak until finally losing at the hands of The Rated R Superstar, Edge, who caught Alexis from behind and rolled him up in an Elimination Chamber match to determine the first UCW Heavyweight Champion.
Alexis was furious, as he prides himself on pure victories, and this brought Alexis into a feud with none other than the Rated R Superstar Edge. The feud last a month or so, until their next meeting, when once again Edge used dirty tactics in the form of his manager blasting Alexis in the face with the title belt to pick up the win. With that, Alexis slowly had himself wrote off of TV due to the fact he was furious with losing to the same man twice, something that hadn't happened to him throughout his career. It was soon after that, that the company went under.
WRESTLING HEADQUARTERS ALLIANCE
At the recommendation of a friend [Christian Carnage], Alexis Morningstar signed a contract with WHA. He has formed an alliance with Jason Krow, in the form of the faction Los Illuminados. The team debuted, after Alexis successfully made his way into the finals for the X Division title match. Alexis' debut in WHA made shock waves through the company, as by the end of the match Los Illuminados was standing tall. Soon after their emergence, The WHA faded.
EXTREME WRESTLING ALLIANCE
A rather small time company which was brought to the attention of Alexis Morningstar by former CWA Competitor, Chris James. The two teamed up in Alexis first match in the company and took a tainted win of the World Champion and the Women's Champion in a tag team match. The following show, they destroyed one half-of the tag team champions and simply walked out of the company...
GATEWAY WRESTLING ORGANIZATION
A fresh chapter, in the book that is Alexis Morningstar is the highly controversial GWO. Alexis started in GWO in a tournament to garner the number one contender for the GWO World Title at their first return PPV G-VOLUTIONIST. Members of the roster had been asked to campaign before the tournament, the two members that had the best campaigns were chosen to fight for the title at the night of the PPV. Ryan McKenzie, a good friend of Alexis' was one of the winners, and a woman by the name of Laura was the other. After being named a number one contender, Ryan McKenzie faced Alexis Morningstar on the first card and lost.
Then the following week, Laura also lost to Alexis Morningstar which raised a question; why was he even competing in the tournament if he had already beaten the two competitors competing for the title? He went on to beat a man by the name of Ravage in the finals and at the PPV he was added as a third man in an odd title match. To win the title, you had to climb to the top of the cage and hit a button. Alexis did so, but Ryan McKenzie won the match and the title. Alexis had his first 'loss' but he had yet to be pinned, and in his eyes he thought he would be the next in line for the title.
But even after beating Laura and Ryan McKenzie, he was ushered into a lower division in favor of giving Laura a shot at the World Title which she won. Alexis went on to win the GWO North American Title, but vacated it a week later after problems backstage with co-workers. He returned briefly a week later, getting into a fight with management before getting fired.
FULL FORCE PRO
Alexander came into the company with all the momentum in the world. He went undefeated during his stay in the company, other than a match that he no showed. He was the 2009 J-Cup Winner, and would have gone on to win the World Title if things hadn't arisen outside of the world of Professional Wrestling for Alexander Monroe. However, with the relaunching of Full Force Pro, Alexander Monroe came back fresh and ready to go. In his return match, he defeated Genocide -- the same man he had beat in the finals of the J-Cup Tournament nearly a year before hand. With this victory ushered in an era within the company that saw nothing short of total domination from the superstar.
Capturing several different titles during his stay with in FFP, many have argued that, until All Original Wrestling, FFP was the defining moment of Alexander's career stateside.
ALL ORIGINAL WRESTLING
After taking an extended vacation from the North American wrestling scene, 2011 saw him return stateside with a whole new attitude. At the urging from various road agents, Alexander Monroe was signed to a contract with the upstart promotion AOW. His first few matches were ones of relative obscurity. While he was willing to work with, and more often than not put over the talents around him, it was his form on the microphone that caught the attention of those around him. It wasn't long until the top talents within the company took notice, and one of those men was Vernon Pryce. A fanatical heel, he soon found himself at the top of the pyramid of power within the company as his faction, Divine Power, had set it's sights on total domination of the industry. Soon enough, the gathering of men ( Nic Virtue, and Vernon Pryce ) brought Monroe within it's fold, and from that day forward there was simply no need to look back. Early on in the factions life-span, Vernon Pryce seemingly vanished from the spotlight, but that didn't stop the other two men from shining.
While a member of Divine Power, Monroe found his way to a Tag Team Championship reign as well as that of a Junior Heavyweight championship reign, but as the team climbed higher their egos seemed to inflate to overwhelming heights. It wasn't long before Nic Virute and Monroe simply could no longer exist, and it was in that moment that the two men lost their coveted Tag Team titles. The two would feud until Unknown Heights, when the surprise return of Vernon Pryce would throw a wildcard into the mix, as he returned and attacked his former stablemates for seemingly no apparent reason. The three men would go onto feud until the next PPV which saw Alexander Monroe stand tall at the end of a Steel Cage match, and with that win gave him the number one contendership spot for the AOW World Heavyweight Championship. It was during this time, that Monroe truly grew into his own in the company, and that he was viewed as a legitimate threat, beating former champion Justin Tyme in the process.
The current champion was that of Damian, who Monroe was no stranger to. During Divine Power's run at the top of the tag team division, they had faced Damian several times with his tag team partner Jonny D. On all three of the occasions Divine Power had taken the victory, and in this manner Monroe did not fear his opponent. Several times he simply pointed out to the man that he was at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and that he was nothing more than a placeholder until his own reign would begin. However, Damian proved not only Monroe wrong, but his own skeptics, with his first title defense which saw him go toe-to-toe with Alexander, and after a grueling bout, retain the title. However, after the match it seemed as though Monroe's weeks and weeks of mind games had taken their toll on the champion, as he brutally attacked his challenger at the end of the show. Monroe would not be seen for a week, and when he returned, he returned with rage in his heart.
During Showdown, Alexander, along with several hooded figures brutally attacked Damian, leaving him in a pool of his own blood. These attacks continued until a rematch was slated for the next PPV, and it was on that day that Alexander Monroe ascended to the highest heights of the company, and captured the AOW World Heavyweight championship. He would, however, not see a defense. After several shows, the company went into a hiatus, and eventually, closed it's doors for good.
PRO-WRESTLING REVOLUTION
With the folding of All Original Wrestling, a new opportunity was brought to MONROE's attention, that of the new upstart PRO-WRESTLING REVOLUTION. With a staff mostly comprised of people MONROE had worked with before, it was almost a lock that he would sign with the company; and he did. With the first televised programming on the horizon, MONROE has his sights set on that of the PWR Heavyweight Championship, but first he'll have to get through a list of hungry competitors, including his best friend, Ryan Cavallari, in the companies inaugural championship tournament.
WORLD ELITE WRESTLING
At the urging of his close friend, Ryan Cavallari, MONROE has signed a contract with the world renowned promotion. His time in this promotion, however, did not last long. Almost as soon as he joined, he was out the door due to commitments with another organization.
