Don't get how '12 got best mark ...
I believe they were payed off to give that game a "9". As for WWE'13, It looks like a pretty deserving score. If anything from the looks of it, WWE'13 should have gotten the 9 and WWE'12 should have gotten a 5.5. Then again, reviews are only based off 1 persons expereance, and should never be taken to heart IMO.

LOTS OF IMPROVMENTS IN THIS GAME AND IT'S BETTER THAN WWE '12 AT ALL.
BUT WHY 8.4???
I HAVE THE GAME ALREADY.
IT'S REALLY PERFECT.

You're Welcome. *Damien Sandow Quote*
I mean remember last time they gave SVR08 a 7.8 & SVR09 a 7.9 instead of 7.0 - 7.5 (I remember Resident Evil 6 was 7.9 but Gamespot & others hated it by gave it a low score which it's unfair)? I wonder what's the other reviewers (Game informer, Gamespot & Others oh wait, I don't really care anymore) say about this one.

Ok, IGN & G4 liked it but others like Gametrailers, Game informer didn't and then gave it a low score instead which it's unfair & plain ridiculous even though Metacritic gave '12 a 76/100.

'12 kinda was like a 8,2 by fails , limitations , repetitive RTW and poor AI . Yeah , most likely they did that .

Even if IGN had given WWE '13 a total score of 6.5 or 9.5, I still would have a good time playing it. I've played every THQ-based wrestling game since WCW/nWo World Tour (N64), and I'm not gonna stop just because some sites gave it poor rating. Same goes with any game really. 8.4 is basically in the area where most games lies these days. People are way more demanding now then they were a couple of years ago.
8.4 is okay with me. Hell, Resident Evil 6 got 4.5 from Gamespot, but I consider it to be one of the best games in the series. Doesn't really prove anything.
Why do we play games? To have a good time.
I guess we have to agree to disagree.
I'm gonna have a blast with '13 no matter the review score.

I don't care what rating a game gets from reviews anymore. I still think that WWF No Mercy for N64 is the best Wrestling game ever. If that game was to be released as it is today, most peope would laugh at it.

I watched the vid. I don't care about IGN reviews. What matters is what I think about the game and I'm not going to get all whiny and start crying about the rating they gave the game. I'm just gonna wait and play the game myself before I judge anything.
NOT just IGN my friend. because some people always said 'You can't spell ignorance without IGN' sometimes in most of their comments. And It's funny that how they didn't cover Universe mode, or understand online too well.
And seriously, that's the reason why I really couldn't trust those game reviewers whatsoever (How IGN like RE6 but gamespot didn't. WHAT IS GOIN ON HERE anyway?! I guess I fled to another universe then. And yes, I still couldn't trust Gamespot which it's bullshit & unfair like a critical backlash of Skyward Sword review). Probably I was too scared of 'The Truth' till someone is gonna cancel the pre-order I mean 'read the review first before you buy the game'.
YOU'RE WELCOME.

No matter how good the game is this year, it shouldn't deserve 9. Sure, it deserves better than 6 at least but I will read reviews more and decide later this week will I buy it or not. And if I do buy it, it will be Xbox 360 version.
