- Welcome to the 2013 edition of the SDH OS! -
First of all I would like to explain in a couple of lines what the Online Season is. For those of you who dont know, the Online Season is the SDH online simulation league for Xbox 360 and PS3.
It is made up of two main parts: one part of roleplay and one part of simulation. The roleplay part will be operated here in the OS forums, whereas the simulation part will be operated on Xbox LIVE and PSN through online matches on WWE '13.
Just like last year, we are going to have two Weekly Shows: RAW (the Xbox 360 show) and SmackDown (the PS3 show).
RAW will be managed by the WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon (Me) and by the RAW General Manager Shane Mc.Mahon (
Jet
), while SmackDown will be managed by the SmackDown General Manager John Laurinaitis (Winds Of Change).
Both shows will have their own championship titles divided up into three principal categories: Major Belts, Mid Belts and Minor Belts.
RAW - Xbox 360:
1 - World Heavyweight Championship (Main Title)
2 - Intercontinental Championship (Mid Title)
3 - World Tag Team Championship (Mid Titles)
4 - European Championship (Minor Tilte)
SmackDown - PS3:
1 - WWE Championship (Main Title)
2 - United States Championship (Mid Title)
3 - WWE Tag Team Championship (Mid Titles)
The order of the Weekly Shows will be exactly the same as the order of the shows in the WWE '13 Universe Mode. For example, if in the WWE '13 Universe Mode there are 3 episodes of Raw between Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania, in the Online Season we will still have 3 episodes of Raw between those 2 PPV.
- 2013 EDITION -
As for the 2013 version of the Season, I decided not to erase all the work we did last year, but rather to continue from where we left, storylines and titles included. In this way we will maintain intact all the progresses made in the past edition, making the Season an even more important and solid brand for SDH.
The 2013 edition of the Online Season will take place right after the 2012 one. Basically, Elimination Chamber (which should have been the next show in the past Season) will be the first show of the Season 2013.
As for the Supertars, I'll give the possibility to all users who have competed in the past editon to maintain their character.
At the beginning of Elimination Chamber there will be a Draft Lottery, an event which will allow old and new users to change or choose their own Superstar.
The Draft Lottery will be sufficient to justify any interruption of feuds or departure of some characters.
- DRAFT LOTTERY -
The Draft Lottery will take place here, in a topic that I will start tomorrow, January 10th, in the official forum of Season.
To start, I'll give three days of time to all the players who competed in the 2012 edition to confirm their character.
Then, exactly three days after the topic was started, all the other users will be able to write 3 preferences for the characters that they would like to use in the Season.
If 2 or more users will ask for the same Superstar, it will be assigned to the user who requested for him first.
The Draft will end on January, 17th.
- HOW TO JOIN AFTER THE DRAFT -
It's simple, you need to register on our forum and then fill out an application in the Appication Center. The last step is the OS Staff will vote on whether you get to join.
Click HERE to check the Free Agents List and HERE to check the Non-Playable Characters List.
CAWs and Divas are not accepted.
- ROLEPLAY -
What is roleplaying? Roleplay is a big part of the Online Season, roleplaying is when you type out a story or conflict which explains your character himself, or a feud you're currently in. You can roleplay with your chararter in the Backstage Area, in the GM Room and even in the Weekly Match Cards.
In order to be scheduled for title matches, you must roleplay at least once every two weeks.
- HOW TO PLAY A MATCH -
General rules and guidelines:
1. No spamming. Spamming means hitting the same move over and over again and refusing to sell for your opponent, this is annoying and ruins the fun in online matches.
2. No UB moves (unblockable moves). Simply don't play with moves that cannot be reversed or blocked.
3. No Stalling. Stalling can give an unfair advantage to the opponent and does not look good at all if you're wrestling. Unless you resting and/or waiting for your opponent to get up, then stalling is considered unfair.
3. Play your character. If you are fair play as a fair, if you are heel play as a heel.
4. End the match with a finisher. You can end a match off (as long as it's realistic) only after at least a finisher has been done.
- PENALTIES -
From this edition, a new system of penalitis will be introduced for anyone who does not play their matches before deadlines.
For each week of inactivity you will receive a strike. Receiving strikes will result into the following penalties:
1st Strike = Exclusion from the next Weekly Show.
2nd Strike = Exclusion from the next PPV.
3rd Strike = Permanent suspension from the Season.
Obviously, these measures won't be taken if the user in question will have justified his absence before the deadline.
