TNA IMPACT Wrestling Discussion 2013

AJ Styles is rumored to have contract issues with TNA...

I thought that Dixie/AJ segment was done very well to be honest. That Dixie Carter heel turn wasn't as cringe worthy as expected although I think I'd have had her low blow AJ Styles or something so the ending wasn't as confusing and confirm heel turn once and for all. I mean the shock on the faces of the announcers and crowd could have been what TNA needed but other than that I wont complain too much at that segment to be honest, the promo work AJ has done over the last month has been some of his best in the 11 years he's been with TNA. Everything else on the show sucked and just seemed randomly put though, I'm guessing Jeff Hardy could be moving down to the X-Division like RVD did last year which could be a great move in the long run.

Impact was solid but James Storm really needs to tweak is gimmick.

I hate Storm and Gunner. They're so boring. I liked the ending. I don't like that it seems so rehashed from Punks story, which is mainly Styles fault referecing Punk in his earlier promo, but it was well done. The fact they cut him off and quickly ended the show was a really nice touch.

Tessmacher looked REALLY good with that title. They should keep the Heel persona and a similar attire when she starts competing again. Generally speaking, they need to hire a few girls again. I like the Knockouts and they have very different kinds of girls with Kim, Sky and Tessmacher, especially in appearance. Sign Ivelisse, Melissa, Yim. Rehire Hendrix, maybe the Blossom Twins, and boom, you have a huge variety of looks and styles.

This Impact was bit bad . All the matches didn't really connect and the best thing , EGO defeating Sting , Joe and Magnus , was bit buried with a strange ending . AJ and Dixie actually cut an amazing promo , even though Dixie turn was too forced ... Also props to Knux , he did a great job on the mic (I actually didn't know he was that good on it . He's as good as Garrett but better on ring) .

Just get rid of Aces & 8's already, please.

Honestly, I kinda start to like Wes. He looks like he could play a good goof. Kinda like Santino when he was heel against Lawler.

So let me get this straight, after a year of the Aces & Eights battling and taking out the TNA roster (Hogan, Sting, Hardy, Aries, the list goes on and on) the person that was ultimately responsible for breaking up the group after all those big names I mentioned was .............. Brooke Tessmacher? 

REALLY?

I mean think about she is the one that broke it down from within, the reason the members are leaving the group or being kicked out each week is because of Bully Rays love for Brooke Tessmacher so essentially Brooke was the one to get rid of the Aces & Eights faction despite being in the group.

I hope they don't waste the talent of Knux after the end of Aces & Eights ...

I don't care what anybody says, EGO are without question the best thing in Wrestling right now. When Daniels and Kazarian were the Bad Influence (without Roode) it always seemed as Kaz was Daniels' sidekick and he was hiding in his shadow but ever since joining forces with Roode, he has been given equal spotlight which I think is only fair but their Hall Of Fame segment was amazing. They had me laughing throughout the whole thing as usual.

I'm not too happy about Samoa Joe being in the Ultimate X match though, I think we all remember his last failed attempt in the match and it's pretty obvious he wont won the title but it's really unpredictable between the other 4. Should be a great match. Other than that IMPACT wasn't all that great this week.

First time I was ever entertained by anything involving Roode that wasn't a match. Those suits though.

Honestly, this was a pretty nice swerve with the Aces & 8's. I don't really overthink shows while watching, so maybe it was more predictable than what it was to me, but I was surprised.

Ok-good Impact . It was only worth to see the Full Metal Mayhem and the "Aces & Threes" segment , they caught me off guard , but they are still pointless now ... Hope they split at Turning Point and Knux gets used well after .

I don't think so, I'm waiting for it as well and a clear version of Chris Sabin's theme.

Before talk about Turning Point , I have to say I'm angry at Kurt Angle vs Austin Aries . It's fine that only one can pass and one has to submit , but that Angle defeats Aries with Roode's Crossface in 3 seconds is just too much ...

EC3 and Gail Kim squash matches shouldn't happen in special episodes ...

The ending to Joe vs Magnus was HORRIBLE ... -_-

Roode vs Storm was a great match (even though it is overused) , and I also liked Ray vs Anderson (liked the ending a lot for some reason) .

The Aces & Eights funeral has to be a contender for segment of the year. The entire thing had me laughing from Samoa Joe eating doughnuts and not handing Kurt the last beer to EY and the turkey suit, heck even Mike Tenay showed he has a personality after 11 long years with Brooke Tessmacher's shorts under the announce table. One of the best things I've seen from TNA all year, probably the best that hasn't included a member of EGO.

Yeah, Iaughed at Joe too. The simple fact the "fat one" eats was kinda funny to begin with. Sabin was pretty funny too, when he screamed at Roode and then send Velvet away.
