Well, that sucks. I kinda miss THQ a bit.

What weren't you ranting about the servers? Lol

I meant like I kinda miss them because I grew up with their video games as a kid. I hate them for the servers and WWE Games in general.

Speaking of the servers, what will happen to them now? Will Take Two keep them going or are they getting removed altogether?

Wonder where all the peeps that swore they wouldn't go under are now. Anyways, This could be either phenomenal, or horrible for future WWE Games.

We seen it coming, just did not see 2k getting it.

I'll give it a chance, as I hear good things about there other games.

Prob need to w8 till 2014 for a new version of WWE.

That's ok they can take there time.

2k make sure it's good, if it's going to take a while to bake.

Just saying.

I think this just sunk in... LMAO hahahahahahahahah So thankful. Maybe 2k can actually get a decent developer instead of Yukes, and get decent online play back. A long with a lobby for online players.

Can't they just start working on the game from now till 2014? I am sure we're getting WWE'14 this year, so while THQ is working on its version 2K can be doing the same thing as well..

Why do people say they will still be a WWE 14. Just because WWE 14 was already in development don't mean it's coming out. 2K is going to make the game from scratch just about.

And what about what @WWEGames tweeted? And is there time for 2K to finish a WWE game in this short period of time? Almost 10 to 12 months..

TBH, I really don't want WWE '14 to come out. I would rather have 2K spend a year and a half making WWE 2k15.

Yea you're right, we're getting a lot of great games this year that's gonna hold us up for a year... GTA5 is coming out this year so what else could I ask for.

Or 2K could spend 3 years making the game.

If Take Two scraps WWE 14, which is likely but who knows, they could possibly let Yukes finish '14 and publish it under 2K while working on their own title, we're not going to see a game any time soon, especially if they're building from the ground up. A wrestling game presents very unique challenges when it comes to animations, mo-capping, engine, etc. They tend to mo-cap all of their things, so think about all the things they will have to mo-cap just to get THAT portion of the game done. That's not easy task, and it's not something that is fast. If they're doing a game from the ground up, chances are it's going to be at least two years out, possibly three. I'm sure the WWE has a time table they pitched, but there's no way we're going to see a full game, ground up, in under a year. It's not possible, unless they buy out the engine and tools from Yukes and build upon it, which imo, isn't likely, as Yukes uses it's wrestling engine for other games. These time tables people are pitching are just unrealistic, you're not going to build a new game, especially as one as unique as a wrestling title, in a year. It's not going to happen, not from the ground up with a developer that has absolutely no experience with wrestling titles outside the occasional rumble within their Grant Theft Auto series.

To THQ sinking or the possibility of the WWE '13 servers getting shut down? The former I'm "meh" about, the latter I (and I would presume others here) really don't want to happen.

Many have forbode this event happening, yet there were still critics that chose to debate. For far too long, people have read the news and now there is no point in trying to hide it anymore. THQ is officially done.
