Does take two allow There video games to be monzatized?

If so welcome to the club lol jk.

Though I hear they do great with the graphics.

Question is what about yukes?

Most likely Yukes will be done just like THQ, 2k would be the developer & Take Two the publisher.

and that means starting over... from scratch.. although i'm cool with that...

I did more research, & I reckon we will start to listen to some solid soundtrack this year, which was very lacking in the past WWE games, & Yukes may also be replaced with Visual Concepts, which is hella cute. We may not see DRASTIC changes in the game this year since WWE '14 have already been in development for three months by Yukes, or they'll scrap it altogether. Again, who knows.

But Visual Concepts will develop the next WWE game, which is cute.

The only things I can really say I'm upset about is...

1. We will most likely have to wait until 2014 until we get a new WWE Game UNLESS 2K buys the whole thing, engine, license, ect...

2. We will have to continue playing WWE 13 until that time.

3. Community Creations is more than likely going to be completely shut down.

The soundtracks are the least of my worries as I can just mute the thing and play my own music if it comes to the worst case scenario. WWE 14 may not be what they are fully capable of but they have a good amount of time now to get things how they want and at least have it boost the THQ reviews.

^ With all the Diva releases we have seen we would have had Kaitlyn no matter who was in charge of the game. She is the face of the Divas Division right now.

I remember back in 2005, WWE SVR had the best & the most nostalgic soundtrack ever. When I hear the soundtrack of WWE SVR now, it makes me go like "Wow, I used to do that when this song was on." Soundtrack is one of the most important features on a video game. You just muting your TV & playing your own shit will automatically rip the nostalgia away, just sayin'.

I do understand what you're saying but muting the TV and playing your own music is an easy fix to a common problem. Like you I consider the first SvR game to have the best soundtrack out of the entire series. I'd rather have a game with a bad soundtrack that I can mute with good gameplay rather than the other way round if you know what I mean because gameplay isn't something we can control.

I think we are on the verge of something revolutionary, could it finally be? You decide....Take Two (through 2K) made such video games such as:

xcom_eu_fob-15551-cropped.jpgbl2_agnostic_fob-15931-cropped.pngsotl_agnostic_fob-13181-cropped.jpgciv5_gak_pc-dvd_fob-15111-cropped.jpgd2_agnostic_fob-13161-cropped.jpgmafia2_fob-9131-cropped.jpgbioshock2_fob-5271-cropped.jpg

This is something unheard of, until now--we are going to get a pro wrestling game made by Take Two. I have got to see what this looks like! :D

Guys, wasn't Yuke's the developer for WWE games..? If that's the case shouldn't it have a separate contract which would still exist now, meaning that 2K would just be mere publishers while Yuke's still develops the same game over and over again...?

Honestly, I'm not really overhyped for 2K/Take-Two taking the WWE License(I'm excited but not overhyped), but until I see gameplay and news of what they can do with the WWE License then I'm not really all that hyped yet. My honest opinion -BSG 22

R.I.P THQ/Yuke It So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday. (tears of joy) Thank You for Smackdown Shut Your Mouth, Here Come The Pain, Smackdown Vs Raw-Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 but it's time to move on to a new generation.

That's actually a good point and more of a reason not to get hopes too high.

Well aaaah GOD DAMN!!! This has totally taken me by surprise! All the sources indicated that EA had pretty much sealed the deal. This just came way outta left field, wasn't expecting it at all. I don't have anything against 2k, the nba series is great. The way I see it is:

PROS

The commentary may be amazing & unlike anything we've seen in previous WWE games, or any wrestling game for that matter

We may see the return of online lobbies in WWE games

Graphics will be stunning

We may get a more proper weight detection system

The online maybe more heavily policed

More updates/patches on a consistent basis

CONS

Yukes may no longer be the developer

Caw mode will be a lot less detailed & we won't be able to create wrestlers from the past or current ones not in the game as accurately

A lot of the features & gameplay enhancements we've seen recently may get stripped (such as paint tool, create a finisher, OMG moments etc)

My main concerns are the gameplay, caw modes & functional online play. If take 2 can deliver in these aspects then I'm a satisfied customer.

Good point, but no. 2K has it's own developers.
