TNA Bound For Glory Series 2013 Discussion Thread

The standings are up to date again and it just shows how messed up and unprepared the BFG Series is this year. Jay Bradley has faced Joseph Park twice now which is ridiculous considering there are so many matches we haven't seen yet but at least he has 7 points now despite it not being enough to launch him or Hernandez into the top 4 even if they do win the Gauntlet match next week. Everyone else still has a chance to make it to the top 4 and potentially knock Jeff Hardy out of the running. Magnus, Austin Aries and Bobby Roode are guaranteed to be 3 of the final 4, my money is still with AJ Styles to take it and win the whole competition as I said before the Bound For Glory series even began, the whole no World title match until Bound For Glory really made it too obvious for me but as we saw with James Storm last year, things can change at a moments notice so you can't really rule anyone out yet with the exception of Hernandez and Jay Bradley.

As a result of finishing in first place AJ Styles got to choose his opponent for the semi-finals, he chose Austin Aries which then leaves us with Magnus vs. Bobby Roode.

 

I personally would have taken Daniels over Aries but overall we have a great final 4 this year. I am just happy Jeff Hardy got knocked out of it before No Surrender.

Here's the number of matches everyone had (no spoilers) :

9 matches : Samoa Joe , Mr Anderson , Bobby Roode and AJ Styles

8 matches : Jeff Hardy and Austin Aries

7 matches : Kazarian , Christopher Daniels , Magnus , Joseph Park , Jay Bradley and Hernandez

Why the 2nd edition of the BFGS series is the only one who actually had all the participants having the same amount of matches (well , Dinero only had 9 , but was because of the injury) ? Both the first and this one look stupid if ones can have more matches and the others , lower (Gunner in first had 20 matches !) .

Lol atleast with Hardy as champ, TNA wasn't in the gutter. People are tired of Bully.

In his 5 months reign , I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one who got tired of him .

Everything is now finalised and the final 4 have been established. Can't say I'm too surprised but it's a great final 4 this year.
