Again sorry for the long topic title, when the WWE 13 catergory's start to come out, which I'd imagine will be about May or June, July time, this can be moved very nicely by one of the kind moderators to that general discussion area. Basically I wanted to start a little debate or very least share my own thoughts on this. I feel that the story designer needs an upgrade, well I believe it needs two things firstly

Number one - it needs to be more stable, it still has many text glitches, freezes a lot, glitches in general, which is most disappointing.

Number two - it needs many more cutscenes once number one is achieved.

This is not asking THQ to go outside the box here, they cant exactly say "OMG this is too much, you ask to much, you fans should be grateful we make a game at all" or the Cory line "I don't know if the fans appreciate what we do for them". Look your adding a few cutscenes that are badly needed and actually doing something to a mode you didnt touch last year so quit complaining THQ is what I say if they have any grudges against working on story designer mode.

I guess it goes without saying, DO NOT REMOVE THIS GAME MODE. I know it sounds stupid but if the alternative is to not have it - then just leave it alone in the game. People like me still use it a lot. If story mode is out of the WWE 13 game I'd imagine I probably will strongly consider not buying the game, THQ cannot keep removing stuff, thats not gunna wash anymore, it might have before WWE 12 or rather before SvR 2011 but not now

Now what important cutscenes will be needed -

1 - They need to make custom music from the playlists available for people to play on the game during promos.

2 - They need to make custom entrance videos available as well - currently they arent, or is there some "copyright" against your own material you created THQ, hmm?

3 - You need a basic Promo from stage to ring and leaving the ring, it sounds stupid but it cant actually be done with the current animations all in ONE scene. Also the amount of text your given needs to double in terms of pages length.

4 - If any new match types such as I Quit or Ambuluance arrive in the game, guess what THQ, in story mode you can work around them and promo them without say an ambulance or a casket around but wouldnt it be a whole lot nicer to have an animation at a graveyard or hospital or help people really promo these new match types, help the fans out a bit? C'mon? Stephen if your still on this site hope your listening to all this, its good stuff. You have a restaurant scene with two animations, one is a nice dinner which goes well, the other is one which doesnt, and there great scenes, we need more of that THQ. More stuff backstage and in different places. My advice? Would be a graveyard with two animations, the Undertaker buring someone or something and maybe another of him doing something else, I dunno something like that and three animations in a hospital, one were kane tries to kidnap a diva in the amublance so people can recreate Eve/Cena/Kane segment, one inside a hospital ward of an injured superstar being visited by another injured superstar and another of an injuried superstar being attacked by say Kane at the hospital instead of being visited. Other places you could throw in, maybe outside an arena, fan access? autograph signing area, a jail, a high school, a gym.

5 - When it comes to in-ring Promos, I would like to see Promos that directly reflect a superstar like say an rko promo where Randy rko's the guy at the end, you already have this animation for Universe mode made so dont tell me it would "take too long" THQ, but you go further and have a new section of animations which are character based, eg. Big Show knocks someone out, or Daniel Bryan does his submission finisher, AA, stuff like that

6 - Finally more backstage arenas and some being a little brighter please and a decent Interview area backstage area, the WWE 12 interview area is a pathetic joke, I want to see this improved a lot. Or else add too the ones you have

THQ this is important, please listen to me, a fan -

There are a lot of little attacks and digs at THQ in this but there their for a reason, dont let me down THQ, or your fanbase

I Agree. We should be able to show Highlight reels in story creator & I'd also like to see alot more Cutscenes. It would be cool if we got a 20 CAW Limit. And also here are some of my cutscene suggestions:
Limo Explosion: A Superstar enters a Limo then it explodes.
Draft Cutscenes: Superstars bein drafted by Random Lotto.
Monster Truck in Arena: Like Austin driving a Beer truck into the arena.
Ambulance Pick up: A Limo picks up a Injured superstar.
Hell in a Cell Cutscenes: Nuff Said
Cage Cutscenes: Like HIAC Cutscene.
Invasion 2: Like the Nexus where ppl invade the Arena through the crowd, Beat up a Superstar & Officials, then leave.
Peer Throw: To superstars fight near a lake a One throughs another into the lake.
House Attack: A Superstar is sitting at Home watching the show and another attacks them at their house.
Via Sattelite: A Superstar is talking outside of the arena.

I'd also love to see A Bar, A House, Rooms in the House, and A Street Walk to be Locations.

He did the right thing. Stop with the unnecessary bashing (not directed to you in particular). Seeing too many of that around here lately...
