- Tommy Dreamer will be revealing some of the talents for his new House of Hardcore promotion later today. HOH debuts on October 6th in Poughkeepsie, New York.
- F4Wonline.com confirms that WWE has signed international wrestling star Pac to a deal. We noted this weekend that Pac had apparently left Dragon Gate in Japan and this is why.
- TNA Knockout Rosita, who hasn't been on TV in several weeks, wrote on Twitter that she is still with the company and hoping to return soon.
- Austin Aries, Mason Andrews and Zema Ion were some of the TNA terms trending on Twitter during Destination X.
- New TNA Knockout Taeler Hendrix became the new OVW Women's Champion on Saturday night. She lost the title a month ago and previously held it for over 200 days.
- Dixie Carter confirmed on Twitter that Sonjay Dutt suffered a separated shoulder during Ultimate X at TNA's Destination X pay-per-view. She confirmed that he got the shoulder popped back in and then ran out to finish the match. Dixie added that Dutt will be out of action for a few weeks.
- F4Wonline.com reports that WWE is interested in working with 35 year old UFC fighter "The American Gangster" Chael Sonnen. Sonnen lost to Anderson Silva at Saturday's UFC 148 pay-per-view but word is that WWE is ready to negotiate. No word yet if they want him to wrestle or play another kind of role.
Sonnen has ties to WWE as he is friends with WWE Champion CM Punk. Punk was ready to accompany Sonnen to the Octagon for a fight several months back but that was nixed.
Sonnen is also close to WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin. Austin has been bringing Sonnen out to his Broken Skull Ranch in Texas to help him with strength and conditioning training.
- The landscape of WWE developmental is changing big time as some of the more popular independent wrestlers are being signed. Here is an update on some of the latest rumored names for WWE developmental:
* We noted before that international star Pac has been signed by WWE. He is currently in the middle of relocating to Florida and should start with FCW soon.
* Matt Taven has been offered a deal and he is currently undergoing testing. Taven has worked for Ring of Honor, Dragon Gate USA and other promotions.
* Sara Del Rey was indeed offered a WWE developmental deal. She is waiting on medical tests to return but the feeling is that she will pass everything fine.
- We noted yesterday that top independent women's wrestlers Sara Del Rey and Mercedes Martinez were rumored to have participated in recent WWE tryouts at developmental. In an update, apparently the tryouts came at the recent annual FCW camp where talents pay $1,000 to be evaluated and trained. This is the same camp that WWE referee Scott Armstrong's daughter Kayla Armstrong participated in.
- A source within WWE says expect to see a lot of top independent talents signed in the next year. This is reportedly part of Triple H's changes for WWE's talent development.
- Tonight's WWE RAW Supershow takes place from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Advertised locally is John Cena vs. Big Show and John Laurinaitis in a Handicap Match. WWE will also tape SmackDown tonight as Tuesday's tapings were canceled due to the Colorado wildfires. Tonight's tapings will see Superstars first, RAW live at 9pm EST and then SmackDown following RAW.
