Now as we all know if your opponents body part is red and you slap a finisher submission on that body part, the match is instantly over which is an issue, the work around to this is to make  your opponents arms are red.

Now what this does is make the bar go very slow and makes it almost impossible to be tapped out which is also a issue. The reason the breaking point system is there is because of all the feedback(all of those surveys) THQ got before WWE 12 to go back to the Submission A (mashing the buttons) style from the games before 08. I'm pretty sure THQ knew about the people who used Turbo controllers so they decided to mix the struggle submissions from 08-11 and sub A from HCTP-07. (If I remember correctly in 08-11 if someones body was red and got hit with a submission it was over) And we all remember how disastrous submissions were in 12.

And now there's a way to combat submissions and completely make them null and void which is bad too. If for example, it's a submission match and both people have red arms no one wins. A way to fix this is to take away the breaking point submission thing entirely and go back to the absolutely amazing submission b system, where everyone has a chance of either being submitted or breaking the submission. But the greatness of sub B has already been talked to death.

Anyways point being submission is fucked in this game but it's not invincible.

Yea I prefer the good ole sub A/B system myself, although I was a lot better at mastering Sub B's.  But I've heard that the higher your characters toughness is the harder they are to tap out. Now I don't know how much truth there is to that, but my Antoin King caw's toughness is set to 100 I believe & it does appear a bit more difficult to tap him out.

The CAW I was using had a 1 in toughness, so I don't think it has much to do with submissions. I still think they need to bring back a revamped sub B with more options
