I want to recreate this shirt:
I have took some pictures of this shirt to get the squares texture of it.
Now the question is what resolution should I use for this texture 128x128 or 256x256 (I guess its this)
and most importantly what kind of zoom level of the texture should I be importing to the game?
My friend made a seamless texture of that shirt
But now the question is how many times should I multiply that seamless texture and downsize it to 256x256 or 128x128 so it would look good when imported into the game and placed on a CAWs' chest?
I mean how many squares on how many squares should I I use within a texture? For example here it is
5 on 5 squares within a 256x256px texture.
should I increase it to 10 on 10 squares? or more? or less?
should I decrase it to lets say 3 on 3 and use 128x128 and place it few times over and over to cover whole chest and remain somewhat nice looking without sharp corners (you know, when textures are low-fi).
please help me out because I cant afford to bother someone to import this texture many times before it is looking just right. need to get this done in one go
