This is probably my favorite wrestling game to play. Unlike most wrestling games anymore, it was fun and accessible, while a CAW was simple to make without complicated paint tool or face textures needed. I'm wondering if anyone still plays All Stars because I'd really like to make CAWS with people for offline play, since we can't play online anymore.

They cut off online on that game? O_O. Weird seeing as I figured 2k would've either kept THQ/Yukes servers up or would've moved the game to their own servers.
As for the game itself, I only ever played the demo.

sadly, yes. And they never made a sequel. It was such a good game. You should really buy the game though. It's fast paced, enjoyable, and good for mindless play. The cpu is pretty good as well. Sure, it's limited in game modes and lacks something like universe mode, but it's still the best wrestling game in years. I might make a few CAWS after all, since I've seen other people still playing this game.

I just played the demo and I liked it, but I figured it would die soon and didn't actually buy the full game

I loved the game but it got SVR 2011 server syndrome. Killed off and never to be seen again.

I actually just started playing it again two days ago. I was able to figure out the controls and advantages of each class again relatively quickly. It's unfortunate that I won't be able to get my "50 online wins" trophies. I was pretty good and had about 30 wins; I just didn't think the servers would go down. It really is a fun game; my only issue is the fact that the CPU really isn't all that challenging and there isn't a practice mode.

This is the only wrestling game I have ever sold in my life. I just couldn't get into how unrealistic it was so no, I don't even own it anymore.

It's supposed to be an unrealistic arcade style game. It's like NBA Street or NBA Jam which are all generally accepted as fun games if you can accept them for what they are.

wish we got the sequel. Would've loved to have seen a few more modes, different characters(keeping past moveset template and finisher available in CAW), and some tougher CPU to make the game better. Only departments I think were lacking a little. Would love to have more finisher options as CAW finisher options are difficult.

Didn't the company run out of business?

Sadly yes, which is why it got cancelled. There has to be a company that is willing to make a good sequel(or even similar game, with more features) since the arcade style offers an alternative to realistic games.

Actually, as I played this today I realized that they have something pretty simple that isn't in the new games, more tna one person being affected by outside dives. IS THAT SO HARD TO HAVE IN NEW GAMES?!
Newer games are probably built on 1 v 1. Noticed how awkward triple threat, fatal four ways, tags can be? You can't do moves to many people at once, can't go on a streak and lay everyone out, and nobody sells. Is this really hard?

I enjoyed it but my bro sold it so I can't have fun with it anymore
Despite getting a Platinum on this game in under 2 days.
It was good, for what is was and overall better than LOWM for sure.
