Fans voted and the TNA Board of Directors listened! Beginning this week at our New York tapings, the 6-sided ring returns to IMPACT Wrestling!

Last week, IMPACTWrestling.com posted a poll for the fans to vote on their favorite TNA ring, 4-sides or 6-sides. We can now exclusively report that the TNA Board of Directors requested this information during a series of closed door meetings regarding the future of TNA Wrestling. Fans voted overwhelmingly for one of the options and this was presented to the Board during another private meeting today.

Giving the fans a major voice in the decision, the TNA Board of Directors has just revealed to IMPACTWrestling.com their decision to reintroduce the 6-sided ring! Effective immediately, the new 6-sided ring is set to debut at the upcoming IMPACT television taping on June 25th at New York Citys famed Manhattan Center.

Witness the return of #6Sides this week during the #TNANYC IMPACT tapings!

Yes!! This is one of the reasons I started watching TNA, because of that ring!

Great move by TNA , but I hope it remains and isn't just for a few months .

X-Pac isn't currently in TNA so how he feels about it really ain't relevant.....as a far as I go.

Its xpac... he hasn't been good since 2000

That article sucked up to the TNA board of directors way too much.

X-Pac is one of the wrestlers I hate the most , but is always interesting to hear pros and cons .

Stupid move. The ring was not a problem.

Yeah 6 sides is cool and everything, but its not gonna fix the poor booking or the companies other problems.

TNA needing the money.

They should keep the six sided ring as it is unique and is something different than to the 4 sided ring.

I'm pretty sure they use a six sided ring in some Mexican promotions?

I am not aware of that and haven't seen any other promotions use a six sided ring, The only one I've seen is TNA so I don't know
