Earlier this week I noted that the big gold belt that John Cena handed off to Ric Flair was officially retired. I was able to confirm this with another source today. Also, all titles will be redone and will be introduced after SummerSlam. The new titles will have the new WWE logo on them.

I believe Ric Flair handed the big gold World title belt back but from what I was told today, the plan is to give it back to Flair as a gift at some point. I think they should do some sort of ceremony on Raw and hand it to him that way.

I personally don't like the new logo
And this confirms they have no plans for a brand split -.-

I miss brand split :(

I wish they kept WHC title, that belt just screams "Champion!"

Brand split is #BestForBusiness ...

Hope the changes aren't too big , except in the major belt .

The new logo is lame, not looking forward to seeing it on the titles. :(

I'm pretty happy they are getting rid of the scratch logo finally after about 17 years. This era is totally different from the past ones, and it definitely does need this new logo.

Brand split was fun to watch and very stable in terms that everyone got exposure. Now I feel it's unneeded as NXT is an option as well as WWE Superstars and Main Event. I do feel that in order for no Brand Split to actually work, they need more character development.

The problem with that is not everybody watches NXT, and WWE can only go as far as to put what happened down at NXT on WWE.com, but not everybody will click on it.

Brand split was pure gold, everyone got a chance and new stars got elevated easily in front of a big crowd, especially with a second world title around.

What does viewership have to do with anything? Their still getting exposure, whether some people watch it or not. If viewership is the issue, then the same could be said about SmackDown. It doesn't pull the same ratings as RAW, most people don't even watch SmackDown. But it still exposure. So what if certain people don't watch. Someone will.
