--AJ Styles has posted the following on his Facebook page:

"Where do fans want AJ Styles to be? TNA? WWE? ROH? Japan? Lots of options. Tough decisions."

--As we reported earlier today, AJ Styles posted an interesting question on his Facebook page, asking fans if they would like to see him remain in TNA, head to WWE, ROH or elsewhere.

In an update to this developing story, PWInsider.com is reporting that Styles' TNA contract is set to expire in September, and while there has been no confirmation that he is looking to leave the company, both Styles and TNA have yet to come to terms on a new deal, and very little has been attempted by TNA to get a new deal signed.

While this would not be the first time TNA has let top talent contracts expire before re-signing them to a new deal, examples being Bobby Roode, Devon and Samoa Joe, one would think TNA would go out of its way to make sure AJ Styles is re-signed, as he has been with the company since day one.

--We recently reported that long-time TNA Wrestling star AJ Styles is coming down to the wire in his contract negotiations, and has asked fans if they would like to see him return to Ring of Honor, or possibly pursue a contract with WWE.

TNA is currently on a very tight budget, hence the summer roster cuts, including the recent release of Brooke Hogan. Two more stars coming close to the end of their contracts are Ken Anderson and Devon, who have both been with the company for several years. Anderson is said to still be negotiating a new deal, while Devon could be leaving TNA within the next few months. Devon's contract ran out in 2012 around this time, and he had been written off television until being brought back as a part of the Aces & Eights faction.

It is possible that with Anderson close to leaving, and with Devon on his way out of TNA, along with Luke Gallows allowing his contract to run out during the summer, they could be working towards the end of the Aces & Eights, with a major angle heading into Bound for Glory in October.

AJ Styles' contract issues are simply coming down to a negotiation for more money, as he has been working for TNA since day one, and does not want to be cut down in price given the recent budget issues. One former TNA wrestler told me that the feeling backstage is if Hulk Hogan's daughter Brooke could be cut to balance the budget, there are no contracts currently off the table, and everyone is being evaluated. With some of the contracts being discussed - AJ, Devon and Anderson specifically - that substantial amount of money could be used to bring many younger talents into the program, rebuilding the roster with fresh faces.

That explains why he hasn't gained points so much lately for BfG Series. I was thinking that AJ Styles will win that Ladder match but noo..

I would like to see AJ in Japan but who knows. TNA will likely do the same thinking what they did with Joe, Devon and Roode: write a new contract.

If he came to WWE, I would mark the hell out. I think TNA misuse talent, and AJ has done more than enough for TNA. If he did let his contract expire, I'm sure WWE would offer him a deal.

Lets be honest, TNA without AJ Styles is like PG WWE without John Cena. He has been the face of the company since the inception in 2002 and I know for a fact they wont let him go anywhere. He's obviously been locked to win this years BFG series since November so I'm sure it's not a case of them not using him properly as he's had a pretty good gimmick and storyline this year. It's just their way of dealing with contracts. It may not be the best way to go about things but there is no way TNA would let AJ Styles of all people slip through their fingers and out of the company like that.

Hopefully he'll come to WWE, he's done everything he can at TNA.

What can he gain in WWE? He's too old and already developed, also WWE is so restricted when it comes to Wrestling. Be logical. Also I believe he should leave TNA and go to either ROH, or Japan where Veteran Wrestlers from All over are excepted for in Ring ability.

How is he overrated? Do you even know what overrated means? Or are you just upset that he has more fans than your Fanboy FAV. AJ Styles can get it done stop lying to yourself.

AJ Styles had ONE match in WWE & WWE didn't think he had "it", boy were they wrong. I bet if, IF Aj did let his contract expire & either didn't get a new offer or did but rejected it, I can almost bet money Trips will be calling AJ & will groom him as his new top project, old or not, AJ can still go & very well too.

That's his opinion guys. AJ is my favorite TNA wrestler, but him not liking AJ doesn't change my mind about him. Let him think what he wants.

Anyway, I'd like him to leave, but idk where to cuz WWE is easiest to watch, but he is getting to the age where people generally start to leave WWE to go to TNA or so a start wouldn't be great. I'd say ROH would be best, but knowing TNA, they'll let his contract expire, put that in a storyline, and have him be a secret Aces and Eights member or something dumb. I hope they prove me wrong
