He will and then he will have officially "saved the company" for Dixie Carter again and proved himself worthy of being the "go to guy" as he put it. It's been obvious since he returned that he would be challenging for the World title at Bound For Glory and it's been over 3 years since he had the title. He is overdue another World title reign now.

BOUND FOR GLORY HISTORY FACTS!

  • This is going to be the 9th edition of Bound For Glory. The first one was on October 23rd, 2005.
  • The first BFG (which also going to be TNA's first ever 3-hour PPV) was supposed to take place on November 30th, 2003. The main event was going to be Jeff Jarrett defending the NWA World Heavyweight Title against Hulk Hogan. However, Hogan got injured (decided against doing the match) and the event was cancelled.
  • BFG is the only TNA PPV that has never taken place twice in the same city/arena. However, the states of Florida and California have now hosted BFG twice.
  • The only wrestlers who have wrestled on every BFG PPV are AJ Styles and Samoa Joe.
  • Bobby Roode and Bully Ray have also been part of every BFG show but haven't wrestled on the PPV every time (Roode had a preshow match in 2006 while Bully had non-wrestling appearances in 2005 and 2010).
  • Velvet Sky is the knockout with most BFG matches (5).
  • BFG 2013 is going to be the first BFG where there's no match with a special enforcer or referee.
  • The only two matches that have happened more than once at BFG are AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels and now Kurt Angle vs. Bobby Roode.
  • The longest match in BFG history is 30 minutes (AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels, Iron Man Match, 2005), and the shortest match is 2:58 minutes (Taylor Wilde & Sarita vs. Velvet Sky & Madison Rayne, TNA Knockouts Tag Team Title Match, 2009)
  • The average BFG PPV match length is 12:02 minutes. The average BFG main event match length is 15:54 minutes, the longest one being Hardy vs. Aries from 2012 (23:03 minutes).
  • The wrestlers who have headlined BFG the most times are Sting (4), Kurt Angle (3), AJ Styles (2), Jeff Jarrett (2) and Jeff Hardy (2).
  • AJ Styles' previous BFG main event was in 2009, while Bully Ray has never headlined BFG before.
  • All BFG main events have been for the World Heavyweight Title (NWA or TNA).
  • With the exception of 2010 (when there was a three way match), all BFG main events have been singles matches.
  • The World Heavyweight Title has changed hands at every BFG, except for 2009 and 2011.
  • Despite being defended on every BFG, the TNA X Division Title has changed hands at BFG only twice (2006 & 2012).
  • This year's Ultimate X is going to be the fourth Ultimate X in BFG history and the first one since 2009.
  • Neither Christopher Daniels (who is 0-7), nor Kazarian (who is 0-4) have ever won a match at BFG.
  • Consequences Creed and now Ethan Carter III are the only two TNA wrestlers to make their TNA debut at Bound For Glory, with Carter being the only debut actually advertised for BFG.

He has lost at every Bound For Glory except 2010 because he didn't compete at that event.

There were random matches put together to be honest ... Barely build up most of the matches ...

Surprising victories by Gail Kim and Chris Sabin (7 times X Division Champion !) , but surely great champs !

Bro Men are champions ?

Why fuck this company, the Bromans performed their asses off with Storm and Gunner, let's see what they do with the belts, take a breather. They already have the entertainment factor down, all they need is experience as a great tag team.

That might be true, but Jesse never going to any skills unless he's forced in with some top talent like he was last night with Storm and Gunner.Did you see the match, outside of Roode vs Angle it debatable to be the second best of the match, so they will be fine.

Fact is that Robbie E has jobbed so much that he deserved something.

Now that he and Jessie were made as a tag team, I was happy for Robbie E. He can actually pull decent match. Also Jessie has been better in the ring.

Overall PPV was pretty good even though there was some green screens and botches. But Maffew will notice them.

I didn't think the event was that bad to be honest, better than WrestleMania (minus Taker vs. Punk) anyway. The Ultimate X could have been a lot better without the use of a ladder, it really ruined the whole thing and all the spots have been done many times before, I was left disappointed by this match but Roode and Angle easily made up for it. Without question much better than their Bound For Glory match 2 years ago for the World title and probably the best TNA match this year. I enjoyed the main event as well, probably the best match Bully Ray had as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. The springboard 450 Splash through the announce table was insane and the way AJ Styles was booked as an underdog through the entire match was booked really well even if the result was obvious some 6 months ago. Overall it was nothing special and nothing too bad but I found it watchable.

Some pics of the awful Bound For Glory 2013 attendance.
