Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Returns to ROH, Another Talent Confirms He Remains in TNA.

--Ring of Honor Wrestling announced today the return of former TNA and ROH World Champion Austin Aries, who will be making an appearance at the upcoming ‘Aftershock’ tour event in Las Vegas on July 17th. Aries’ contract with TNA ran out with his final match at last weekend’s Slammiversary PPV, however he will still be appearing on episodes of Impact Wrestling through August. 

 
The following has been announced for Ring of Honor ‘Aftershock’ in Las Vegas:
 
-Jay Lethal, Roderick Strong & Moose vs. Jay Briscoe, Dalton Castle & Kyle O’Reilly
 
-The Young Bucks vs. Roppongi Vice
 
Ring of Honor Television Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament: 
 
-Christopher Daniels vs. Mark Briscoe
 
-Matt Taven vs. Bobby Fish
 
-Kazarian vs. ACH
 
Other stars signed to appear include Austin Aries, Maria Kanellis, Adam Cole, Mike Bennett, Silas Young and War Machine.
 
--MVP has revealed his contract status with TNA on Twitter. There has been speculation of MVP departing TNA, like other wrestlers have done recently. In the tweet he said the contract allows him to take independent bookings and that his contract runs through February 2016. Here is the tweet MVP sent out today:

Hmmm....I think that'll be pretty interesting to see who they put A Double against. It'll be great to finally have him back.
