“The Cowboy” James Storm announced via Twitter this afternoon that he officially finished up his run with TNA Wrestling at last night’s Impact Wrestling television taping in Orlando, FL.

Storm, 38, was a part of the very first NWA TNA weekly PPV back in mid-2002, and was the last wrestler on the present day roster to have worked that show.

In total James Storm is a one-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, six-time TNA Tag Team Champion (Roode, Abyss, Gunner), seven-time NWA Tag Team Champion (Chris Harris, Christopher Daniels), and has remained with the company for more than 13 years.

NB: With Storm's release, Abyss became the only TNA Original left in TNA.

I'd like to see him in NJPW, ROH, or Lucha Underground

As far as TNA Originals left...wouldn't you consider Eric Young and Gail Kim originals?

They joined in 2004. Abyss has been in the company since 2002 and fought on the first event.

Lucha Underground, would be the hottest ticket atm.

BTW those two, where sort of both in WWE before joining TNA.

So was AJ Styles if you wanna get technical lol. But we still regard him as a TNA Original.

It would be sick if James Storm makes an appearance on NXT.

I disagree. What would NXT for him and what could he do for NXT? Not much.

the only place I could see him is Lucha Underground. He'd stick out like a sore thumb in ROH, NJPW or any of the traditional wrestling companies

NXT wouldn't be a good move for him. As he would only be there to put over talent.

LU would suit him the best, due to the fact he has the look and style of it.

Me neither. After Joe left I was just like "What's the point"?

Well it's mostly just jobbers vs jobbers nowadays tbh lol.

Also there losing star after star and the company is seemly not replacing them well enough.

Parts of it is watchable, but you know with other bit it's..........

They were on a roll earlier in the year, only problem was it was too late and since they had little reputation left the momentum had to end. Should have done this comeback years ago. Now they know they're screwed, so I'm glad the guys are going out and getting work elsewhere, they don't deserve to be out of a job.

The best place for him to go right now is probably LU. A feud with him and Texano would be interesting.
