As we noted moments ago, Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com reported that Ken Anderson was fired from TNA after he failed a drug test following a January 19th match against Eric Young in Bethlehem, PA.

According to a TNA source, Anderson failed the drug test after he tested positive for pills for which he did not have a prescription. The source added Anderson’s behavior seemed odd during the day leading up to the match, and illegal pills were the cause of the drug test failure.

We were also told the match Anderson had with Young had to be cut short because Anderson was described as looking “very bad in the ring”, and Eric Young was reportedly furious with TNA management after the bout, to the point he could be heard yelling at officials to do something about the situation.

================================================================================================

I really hope Anderson can come back from this, as he's someone with talent.

So Anderson got fired for wrestling a match under the influence, yet TNA kept Jeff Hardy after Victory Road...

He's been dead weight for a long time so this was probably a blessing in disguise for TNA. His name value really isn't what it was and his match quality is rarely above passable.

Jeff Hardy is a way bigger name than Anderson.

He needs the right company actually. Yet TNA isn't.

It doesn't matter if Hardy is a bigger name than Anderson. He should have been fired after the Victory Road incident.
