Hallelujah! Damien Sandow has signed with TNA

Damien Sandow (now going by his real name of Aron Stevens) has announced he has officially signed with TNA Wrestling, and will make his debut immediately on this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling.

It’s not yet known how long Sandow has signed with the company for, or what kind of schedule he will be working but Rolling Stone strongly hinted at the news yesterday, with official confirmation coming from Stevens’ verified twitter account.

Sandow was released along with several other WWE Superstars in May this year, with TNA President Dixie Carter stating she would be interested in negotiating with whoever was interested in joining the Nashville based company.

Steven’s tweet reads:

“Huh, this is interesting. Time to make an #impact@IMPACTWRESTLING …”

Decent signing if used right.

It will be interesting to see if he is going to go the Comedy Gimmick he used in WWE or if he will be a More serious gimmick

Cats been out of the bag for a long time now, but Dixie Carter is an idiot.

New talent debuting: forget firing a hot angle for the debut which will garner the coverage. No, go out there and passive aggressively talk about the WWE. Time after time they have done this, and it only ever makes them look like second rate players, because that's exactly what they are. Second rate may be too kind.

I hope he does well in TNA. WWE Creative should have done so much more with him.
