And this news completes my btitish connection stable also great to here we will have 2 new fueds on offer from day 1 and 3 new packs to come that's way more fueds than I thought

Well , the new was mistaken , in the description it says 3 and forgot to fix that phrase ... So yeah , even more content ! I still hate that expensive price though . Has to be worthy to ask for that much money , and hopefully it delivers .

Yeah. I was just about to say. $25 for a diva and "season pass." wtf does the season pass unlock? That's such a riip off. It better include a ton of shit. The season pass before unlocked all arenas, belts, and you played online, right?

I'd rather wait 3 months for her when she is at a reasonable price, I wouldn't pay that much for any one character.

...I believe that purchasing the Season Pass was also tantamount to paying for the most of the game's future DLC upfront so that you just had to download them all "free" (prepaid) once they were released (I believe that when Preorder characters were added as DLC, you had to pay for them [The Biker Themed Undertaker once he was finally added to the WWE Shop in the regular version of WWE 2k14, etc.]). I'm hoping for the same treatment this time around. I am officially curious as to what the three additional rivalries to showcase mode could be.

I'm assuming that it cost more on last gen because you aren't getting MyCareer mode which would give you NXT characters and there are a lot of "unlockables" this time around because of Story mode. I still think the price is BS but I'm the kind of person that doesn't care to play all of that stuff just to get everything. I want them all at once so that I can enjoy the game from the start.

No official info on the SP , so maybe it's worth it or not , guys . Hope it is due to the bigger price .

Woah woah, woah. There's a digital deluxe version of the game that comes with the two Hogan playable character's similar to the Hulk edition minus all the Hulk Hogan stuff (toy, signed autograph, and etc)? Take my money.
Wait AND it comes with the Season Pass? To hell with this. Take my motherf#cking money!

So is this just if you pre-order the game at Gamestop or is it available to anybody that purchases the Season Pass like Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were last year?

[UPDATE]

Following the publication of this story, 2K Sports officially announced the DLC pass for WWE 2K15.

"2K confirmed today that WWE 2K15 will offer downloadable content this year, including a Season Pass program," the company said in a statement. "The Season Pass program will be focused on additions for 2K Showcase, the game’s story-driven single-player campaign. In addition, those who purchase the Season Pass will get exclusive access to WWE Diva Paige."

"More information on the comprehensive DLC and Season Pass program, including content details, pricing and timing, will be announced in the coming weeks."

The original story is below.

It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there will be multiple downloadable content packs released for WWE 2K15. Not only that, but 2K will offer a season pass that saves you some cash over buying them all individually.

A GameStop listing for the season pass has been discovered, though the lack of an official announcement would indicate its existence was not intended to be revealed yet. As a result, the page doesn't contain any specifics on what the DLC will consist of. The only detail is that, by buying the season pass, you'll receive access to an "exclusive character," Paige.

It sounds as if the DLC will be focused around the game's single-player mode. The GameStop page description explains, "The 2K Showcase Season Pass brings you more action and excitement from WWE 2K15's all-new 2K Showcase Mode." The season pass consists of three 2K Showcase DLC packs, and offers "over" 20 percent in savings compared with purchasing the packs individually.

There are any number of possibilities for what wrestlers could be added. Sting and Hulk Hogan (in his Hollywood/NWO garb) are each available as bonuses for preordering and buying the collector's edition, respectively; it's possible they'll also be sold as DLC.

We've contacted 2K to find out more about what the DLC consists of and will report back with anything we learn.

WWE 2K15 launches on October 28 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Following a delay, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners will get the game on November 18.

Seems bizarre to put 2 stories in the game and offer 3 as DLC. That's like having 50 wrestlers but offering 70 on DLC. Surely the majority should already be on the game?

$25 is a lot and more than we've paid before but I might get it based on the rivalries we get with it.

Great render .

I dislike the fact that the DLC seems to be mainly focused on a mode not fully sold at the beginning and a character that has to be in the game as Rusev made the cut .

Yeah but think of it like this, who are people gonna want to play with more? Rusev, a guy who'll soon be in even bigger PPV matches who's already dethroned 2 former World Champions, or Paige? I'd be mad if I had to resort to a Rusev CAW.

Well , to be fair , Paige achieved more success on a title perspective than Rusev .

In that case I'm really looking forward to DLC this year, more this year than any other year as far as WWE is concerned.

Just think of the unlimited possibilities when it comes to potential arenas.

I actually think this is a great marketing strategy. Think about it, most of us fans want the most up to date experience, and now 2K have given you a reason to get the Season Pass right away for an extra $25 and additional content. If it was anyone else, say a legend you'd barely play with, would you be rushing to spend extra money on it? No. Plus, someone had to be DLC.
