WWE 2K15 DLC and Season Pass Details Revealed!

WWE 2K15 DLC AND SEASON PASS DETAILS REVEALED

 
 

2K has announced exactly what DLC fans of WWE 2K15 can expect to see following the game's release.

Building on last week's tease, the developer has revealed three new storylines  for the single-player 2K Showcase mose will be made available, along with new moves and playable WWE, WCW and NXT Superstars. Though exact release dates are yet to appear, it'll apparently all roll out in late 2014 and early 2015.

The Season Pass will cost $24.99 and unlocks WWE Diva Paige for use in the game. It also includes all three 2K Showcase 

 

 

Accelerator

  • Players will gain instant access to all unlockable content available in the game (excluding downloadable content);
  • The Accelerator will be available for a suggested price of $1.99.

2K Showcase: One More Match

  • Story focused on the rivalry between WWE Superstars Randy Orton and Christian in 2011;
  • Playable WWE Superstars: Christian, Randy Orton, Edge, Mark Henry and Sheamus;
  • Playable arenas from 2011: SmackDown®, Extreme Rules®, Over the Limit® and Capitol Punishment®;
  • 2K Showcase: One More Match will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

2K Showcase: Hall of Pain

  • Story focused on top matches for WWE Superstar Mark Henry;
  • Playable WWE Superstars: Mark Henry, Big Show, Kane, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sheamus, The Great Khali, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Ryback;
  • Playable arenas: SmackDown (2011), Vengeance® (2011) and WrestleMania® 29;
  • 2K Showcase: Hall of Pain will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

2K Showcase: Path of the Warrior

  • Story focused on the career of WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior;
  • Playable WWE Hall of Famers: Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and Sgt. Slaughter;
  • Playable WWE Legends: Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Macho King and Colonel Mustafa;
  • Playable WWE Superstars: Undertaker and Hunter Hearst Helmsley;
  • Access to WWE Hall of Fame ring announcer Howard Finkel and WWE managers Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, Paul Bearer, Sherri, Sid Justice and General Adnan;
  • Playable arenas: WrestleMania VI, VII and XII; SummerSlam® (1988, 1990 and 1991); Saturday Night’s Main Event XXIV and Madison Square Garden®;
  • 2K Showcase: Path of the Warrior will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

WCW Pack

  • Playable WCW Superstars: Fit Finlay, Lord Steven Regal, Bam Bam Bigelow, Diamond Dallas Page and Lex Luger;
  • The WCW Pack will be available for a suggested price of $7.99.

NXT Arrival

  • Playable NXT Superstars: JBL, Adam Rose and The Ascension (Konnor and Victor);
  • Playable NXT Diva: Emma;
  • NXT Arrival will be available for a suggested price of $6.99.

New Moves Pack

  • Moves Pack: More than 30 new moves, including an alternate version of Sister Abigail (performed from the ring corner and made popular by Bray Wyatt) and Multiple Gut Wrenches (made popular by Cesaro);
  • The New Moves Pack will be available for a suggested price of $3.99.

 

 

Mr.Y2J: This is amazing! I think this is the best as we can get! Christian Vs Randy Orton is the one I wanted but I never actually thought that this is the rivalry that we're gonna get because we always get the same Rock Vs Austin etc. stuff ;)

Now THIS sounds a little more like a $25 Season Pass if it's done the way that it used to be and purchasing Season Pass is tantamount to paying for everything beforehand at a slight discount. I wished that they would have added a few more NXT divas such as Alexa, Sasha, and Charlotte and I DEFINITELY wish that Bray's Sister Abigail were actually in the game with him in the first place but, sometimes, those are the breaks.

Definitely getting the Season Pass, but I get it every year ha. Nice DLC! Worth the money imo.

Could've done better than the feud that buried Christian

As a huge fan of Christian Im actually verry happy, atleast we will get Christian Vs ADR at Extreme Rules :D

I'm a little disappointed with the choice of rivalries for Showcase. They seem kinda random. As much as I enjoyed the matches between Orton and CC from 2011, I don't really wanna play through them. The same with the Hall of Pain thing. I was a huge fan of Mark Henry back then when he was just kicking ass and destroying everyone, but again, don't really wanna play through it. The Warrior one is a nice tribute to the man so I'm cool with dat.

I guess this is why they didn't announce Christian at the roster reveal, cause's DLC. Which is pretty bizarre tbh, he should already be in. Ah well, at least we get some cool arenas/alternate attires.

 

Surprised we didn't get a rivalry from the Attitude Era. I would have liked something we haven't had before like Rock vs Triple H from 2000. Or even something with Sting?

 

As for the the NXT DLC. Happy we get Emma & The Ascension! Bummed we don't get Tyler Breeze. He's like in the Top 5 main guys in NXT so I dunno why they don't have him in. Yet we get JBL who was hardly on NXT when he was GM.

 

WCW pack seems random too. Doesn't really make much sense in having it this year. At least my boy Regal is in tho :P

 

Its a lot of DLC for the price we'll pay, which is good to see.

 

I hope that alternate Sister Abigail is this one!

I'm guessing they were too LAZY to put Breeze in the game. The guy's entrance would be pretty difficult haha. Also you can't create.. A gorgeous face.

Someone shall tweet that to him. xD either way i'm going to create him myself lol, the hardest I can. Probably the first caw I will make. His fur boots are pure difficult I see why they didn't feel like creating him lol. Dooshes.

That's a decent amount of DLC, but I'm surprised that they went up by $5 on the Season Pass this year.  No big deal and I'll probably get it anyway, but they should include all the NXT people on the PS3/Xbox360 version for that price.   And I gotta say, I'm really shocked no bigger rivalries were included for the feud packs.   I think Sting would've had his feud with Hogan, since both were in this year as DLC/preorder.   Not a deal breaker, but it is disappointing that we didn't get more epic rivalries to compete with.

Spend $25 on the Season Pass and yet you have to pay for DLC. Ehhh

I'm acctually extremely disappointed with the showcase mode rivalries one I have no intrest in as I dnt like or play as Christian ever and there other two ain't even rivalries which defeats the point and now it appears that's all the season pass will include this year is paige and the showcase and as huge of a paige fan as I am I've got to decide if she's really worth that much money as theses showcase fueds ain't a sellin point for me

So I'm kind of confused also, do you pay $60 for the game, $25 for the Season Pass and then $9.99 for each DLC? And it's all already in the base game? Can't they just say here's this awesome game we made for $60, enjoy! Instead of squeezing ever penny out of it's customers.
