Spend $25 on the Season Pass and yet you have to pay for DLC. Ehhh

Oh. That's disappointing.

Well, fuck all of this tbh. You want someone to pay up to $100 after it's all said and done for things they either have no interest in or wrestlers who should be in the game to begin with? And now, I'm essentially paying $25 for Paige since I don't give a rats ass to play any of these stories that you think everyone gives a shit about?! The fucking nerve.

Is anyone else concerned with what the roster truly is minus the DLCs?

Is Paige worth $25?...

For the real one, it's a bargain, but for a CGI character?

WWE 2K15 DLC AND SEASON PASS DETAILS REVEALED

2K has announced exactly what DLC fans of WWE 2K15 can expect to see following the game's release.

Building on last week's tease, the developer has revealed three new storylines  for the single-player 2K Showcase mose will be made available, along with new moves and playable WWE, WCW and NXT Superstars. Though exact release dates are yet to appear, it'll apparently all roll out in late 2014 and early 2015.

The Season Pass will cost $24.99 and unlocks WWE Diva Paige for use in the game. It also includes all three 2K Showcase

Accelerator

  • Players will gain instant access to all unlockable content available in the game (excluding downloadable content);
  • The Accelerator will be available for a suggested price of $1.99.

2K Showcase: One More Match

  • Story focused on the rivalry between WWE Superstars Randy Orton and Christian in 2011;
  • Playable WWE Superstars: Christian, Randy Orton, Edge, Mark Henry and Sheamus;
  • Playable arenas from 2011: SmackDown®, Extreme Rules®, Over the Limit® and Capitol Punishment®;
  • 2K Showcase: One More Match will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

  • Playable arenas: SmackDown (2011), Vengeance® (2011) and WrestleMania® 29;
  • 2K Showcase: Hall of Pain will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

  • 2K Showcase: Path of the Warrior will be available for a suggested price of $9.99.

WCW Pack

  • Playable WCW Superstars: Fit Finlay, Lord Steven Regal, Bam Bam Bigelow, Diamond Dallas Page and Lex Luger;
  • The WCW Pack will be available for a suggested price of $7.99.

NXT Arrival

  • Playable NXT Superstars: JBL, Adam Rose and The Ascension (Konnor and Victor);
  • Playable NXT Diva: Emma;
  • NXT Arrival will be available for a suggested price of $6.99.

New Moves Pack

  • Moves Pack: More than 30 new moves, including an alternate version of Sister Abigail (performed from the ring corner and made popular by Bray Wyatt) and Multiple Gut Wrenches (made popular by Cesaro);
  • The New Moves Pack will be available for a suggested price of $3.99.

Mr.Y2J: This is amazing! I think this is the best as we can get! Christian Vs Randy Orton is the one I wanted but I never actually thought that this is the rivalry that we're gonna get because we always get the same Rock Vs Austin etc. stuff ;)

YES Honky Tonk Man, Fit Finlay, Steven Regal. Hall of Pain storyline. The Ascension! I am definitely getting all of this.

Ok I was pleased to pay the $25 for the Season Pass when I was under the impression that everything was included, but to pay even more money for the other packs kind of sucks. That being said, I'll more than likely still get them all.

I'm having the same thoughts right now. I was willing to give the game another chance, but with SID JUSTICE being a manager and the expensive cost of WWE 2K15 in general, it doesn't cut it for me.

This is outrageous , you will be paying $44 !!! More than half of the game itself !

Warrior's Showcase is a good tribute , and I like Henry and Christian been recognized , but the stories aren't really that good to be main focus (also missing information on arenas ? Where's SummerSlam '11 , MitB '11 , Survivor Series '11 ... ?) ... Still good to have some feuds out of the typical's . Keep Christian , Edge and JBL outside off the game when they were in 2K14 is clearly a money grab . Overall the DLCs are dissapointing . Good little things in a sea of bad stuff at an orbital price , setting an awful example to othe companies to inflate their products ...

Now THIS sounds a little more like a $25 Season Pass if it's done the way that it used to be and purchasing Season Pass is tantamount to paying for everything beforehand at a slight discount. I wished that they would have added a few more NXT divas such as Alexa, Sasha, and Charlotte and I DEFINITELY wish that Bray's Sister Abigail were actually in the game with him in the first place but, sometimes, those are the breaks.

Sister Abigail is in , but it's another version .

So I'm kind of confused also, do you pay $60 for the game, $25 for the Season Pass and then $9.99 for each DLC? And it's all already in the base game? Can't they just say here's this awesome game we made for $60, enjoy! Instead of squeezing ever penny out of it's customers.

No , the ones who cost $9.99 will be free with SP , but the rests not .

100 % agree and tbh the dlc characters add nothing for me why do they insist on clogging dlc up withs people from the previous game or legends that have no real meaning i have no intention of using any of the dlc characters from the showcase fueds so now I'm truly buying the season pass just for paige which bugs me so much as I need her in the game to continue a major stable from my universe and where the hell are the current day guys the matadores , sin cara for example there not huge names but would rather have them then guys like Andre and slaughter and even hogan for that matter and to top it of they include Sid justice an acctual decent legend believe this would be his first game but they decide it would be better for him to be an npc !!!! wtf I'll be spending all my time in Carrer this year cause this roster ain't gonna keep me occupied for very long

Not happy with the extra showcase. Arenas from 2011? Wow. That's a big deal, especially when WWE have had the exact same titantrons and GENERIC looking setup for 6 years now. I wouldn't have even minded if they gave us something recent like Daniel Bryan's journey to WM 30 but atleast give us something from 2000-01 so we get characters and arenas from when WWE wasn't so corporate and generic.

Really want Paige but not really big on some of this.

$25 for the season pass this year and it DOESN'T unlock everything???  That is a huge ripoff, considering last year's game charged $20 for their online season pass that unlocked everything DLC.  I realize it's all about trying to make more money, but they'll wind up losing customers on this year's DLC if that is the case.  Paying $60 for the game itself and an additional $50 for all the packs of DLC is not my idea of giving us fans a great deal.  It's insanity to charge $110 for one game and it's DLC, no matter how good it is(which frankly to me sounds like it could be better).   Maybe they will include everything in the DLC once the initial buzz about the game wears off.  Otherwise, I might use the CAW for the DLC guys and do without the extra rivalries.  2K started off on the wrong foot of their new franchise if they really believe us fans would pay double for all the DLC, low sales for it could convince them it's too expensive.   In any event, not a great marketing strategy from my viewpoint...

How much would each thing included in Season Pass be if purchased separately?

9.99

Okay; I'm officially cutting myself off from doing that.

I'm going to wait to see how this truly plays out. I need 2k themselves to explain what all you'll initially get with the game lol This is like getting NBA 2K15 and having to buy a DLC for Derrick Rose, Lebron etc... because you know people need those people for their season mode and then turning around and having a DLC pack for 2014 season rookies. Oh, and paying 6.99 for Phil Jackson to give your season mode team better overall attributes. You know what? Why not add a Ron Harper Showcase Mode so that you can download the 93' United Center and play a simulation of the Bulls vs Phoniex finals.

Like, cut the BS LMAO I'm waiting for them to roll out everything because there's a lot to be explained. Not only are you dealing with getting people to buy Current gen under those graphics, you have to get people to understand why DLCs aren't meant to screw you over and take you money because we know that within that pack, there's at least one thing you want.

LOL we all know they could do something really stupid and lame like trying to make a song out of it or try to start a chant to remind us.    You know they've found creative gold then!!!!

don't think any of them packs really appeal to me. Might get the NXT pack if them characters appear in career mode.

Hopefully there'll still be a good selection of managers available in career mode regardless

It's a real shame game companies have resorted to tactics like this to squeeze money out of their customers. I remember the days of old with games like Smackdown Here Comes the Pain where you got everything for the original price and the only unlocks were things to achieve in the Career Mode. If that game got made by 2K in 2014 I bet you all those unlocks would be extra DLC and all the creative branching storylines that game had would be paid extras.
