The last game I bought was Red Dead Redemption I believe which was like at the start of 2014, it really wasn't a year of gaming for myself this year. A couple of factors contributed to the reason: lack of money, time and games I really wanted to play. Hopefully getting a PS4 will change that soon.

Not bought 
but Telltale's Game of Thrones is the last one I downloaded.

Bought? FIFA 14 not even last year.
Did you buy it before you downloaded it? Digital counts as well, I mean the 3 games I posted I bought on digital & downloaded, matter fact the only game I bought on disc all year was Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, the rest I bought on digital & I bought quite a few. I like digital more than disc.

My last one was Far Cry 4 for Christmas , but after hanging out with some friends on the city , we came across a GAME where Call of Duty : Black Ops II was been sold for 25€. I wasn't interesed , but my friends wanted me to have it for a long time , so we split the price of the game and I got it .

I got that game in 2014, on digital for PS3. That game is amazing.
