Maybe the greatest WWE game (in my opinion greatest WWE game) and only for Playstation 2. Many have heard and played this game, but I like this game a lot. :D

Over 50 (60?) wrestlers, more backstage arenas then now-a-days WWE games.
Blood was new thing in this game and you can drag your oppenents to the middle of the ring. They cannot hang out this those other ropes, lol.

Let's cut the chase.
And let's talk more about HCTP in here! B)

Obviously HCTP was/is/will be the best wrestling game in video game history.We could choose every great wrestlers and the story mode was awesome.It was never boring

Here Comes The Pain is the best and still my favorite of the series. I still play it when I can lol. Seeing an update version would be a dream worth dying for.

Totally agreed i have it for my PS2 and just love it, it was my first wrestling game ever and i haven't been as happy since and probably will never again :D but anyways i loved when you could jump off the roofs, fun times, i did that for hours

Yeah this game is best, but if was a best animation and a best phisic like today in SVR 2011 well that could be the best game ever. Ok, I'm not say that is not a best game but maybe SVR 2012 will be badder than ALL. I say just maybe. But before they will create a best SVR I will be with you guys. :D

My favorite wrestling game :) My friends and i always use to fight backstage where that helicopter circles around.

i used to love fighting back there me and my friends would throw each other off the times square building haha

1.) After seeing that video and never playing HCTP, i know i HAVE to get it even though the graphics arent the best

2.)If THQ keeps doing what theyre doing, hell would need to freeze over before the game even comes close to SvR 2007 yet alone HCTP (only if they could make a game with a mix of SvR 2007/2011/HCTP/Shut Your Mouth, never played that either)

Oh my god, this game was so epic, I love it so much! I don't have it anymore though :) I think I'm going to buy a new copy and dig out my PS2 so I can play it :) It'll be like a breath of fresh air compared to what we have now-a-days!
How amazing would it be if they remade that game, updated it and made the graphics to the standard of 2011? :)

actually here comes the pain is the best wwe game next to svr 2011 . if hctp has the new physics system and improved graphics
it would barely beat svr 2011 to its feet :)

HCTP was the best doesn't really seem like they can touch it. SvR'06 was touching it though but just barely. idk if you guys played with friends in HCTP but having a lot of friends made that game completely untouchable before or since.
