Happy birthday to SimonSDH! If you're around to see this message then remember to celebrate your time with a cold beverage (I'd prefer alcohol every once in a while) and surround yourself with close friends and family because time sure flies by when you're too busy to appreciate all the positive things going on in your life. I know the feeling and even though we don't get to talk much; I'm happy that we can share in the more light-hearted moments and fun occasions. There's a plethora of activities happening simultaneously and it's like being "pulled in different directions" as someone told me previously. Keep yourself grounded in what drives you each and every day and just know that you're getting closer to achieving your goals. I've had setbacks but that's taught me valuable lessons that wouldn't have been possible without taking the risks. I understood my limitations--not from contrived motivations--it's from giving the absolute best to reach bigger heights and even if I failed something far bigger was gained in the outcome of it. We're all striving for something but when we're too focused on what we didn't get from our experiences and hard work we're compounding the issues and making ourselves worse mentally, emotionally, and physically. When we look at the big picture sometimes things aren't as bad as we imagine them to be. Don't miss out on what's always been there this whole time. Hindsight is 20/20.
