I don't understand the change in removing the forum awards feature but I hope it's reinstated so that we all can benefit from contributing to the forums. A huge part of me feeling as though I'm giving back to the community is awarding members that earn their achievements. I've been given this honor as all of the other moderators, administrators, and owners to grant someone the prestige of having something to show for their work. It's one of the best things that's happened here and if all of these people who've asked for these awards in the first place isn't proof of that then I don't know what will convince you. This place will always be dear to me, I've been welcomed here by some of the nicest people who endured my rants and peculiar ways. I think that's more important than any "award" or "achievement" I could ever have. It's more important than some mantle, trophy, showcase, or plague. I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you for letting this happen and if there's nothing to bring it back then I'm grateful that it was allowed in the first place. I really don't need a fancy title or surname. I just want a community that wants to be noticed again more than all of those other things combined. It would be great to see them climbing up there again...for I know what it took for me to get here and it took a lot of hard work and people noticing something that even I couldn't quite put my finger on sometimes. It was more than a job because I enjoyed what I've done and it's done with a passion. That's been an attitude of mine way before I was in this position. I wouldn't be here if I didn't feel that strongly about making a loud enough statement. I wish I could see the other members getting together on the forums again but even I can't be here all the time. Take care. I hope that if you're reading this that it brings you some measure of understanding. It's all disappeared now for whatever unknown reason.
