FINALLY they bring back a normal standard career mode. I hated both RTWM and AEM in previous games. Although the CAW vs Vince-story in the first RTWM was okay.

That wasn't in SvR 2009.

Guys I didn't confirm anything. This has all come from news reports that may turn out to be false until confirmed by 2k Games themselves. This is just a guide as to where we are now with the game.

No offense but the title of the topic and what's posted as speculated in the game already leads everyone to believe what you posted is legit just saying

EXACTLY.. that was my point... i wouldn't add stuff in there unless it was confirmed by 2K what everyone needs to realize is, yeah we would have had a trailer and a few previews by now... IF THIS WAS STILL BEING PUBLISHED BY THQ.  But now it's an entirely different ballgame.  Look at 2K's PR from the last 5 years on their different games.  They do things much differently and people need to understand and come to the realization of this LOL

I have a feeling a lot will be stripped away from the game due to time restraints to allow them to work on a next gen title. JUST MY GUESS!

The only faith I have in EA is that the arena and character design will look pretty great.

eaufcleakheads.jpg

However, I don't like the mechanics to any of their sports games including UFC. I'm hoping they mostly improve on character models, gameplay and arena + sets. I know I'm leaving out important stuff on this wishlist but I really hope for a dope game. I truly haven't liked a WWE game since Raw 2. Outside of the stiff gameplay, that game was EVERYTHING.

And as far as the roster, I'd like to believe that everyone that's on the current WWE.Com roster will be playable on the game except for those who actually aren't active in ring (Vince, Vicki, Stephanie, etc...)

Non Playable Figures.

And of course you have Zeb, R-Truth, etc etc... But I honestly think they should consider ditching filler wrestlers unless they plan on going back to a full season/career mode with a calendar of House shows, Raw and Smackdowns and a PPV with a separate NXT career mode for CAWs.

I think that will be the final Divas roster but Trish will also be included as a Legend after her Hall Of Fame Induction this year. I'm also thinking Cameron, Naomi and Summer Rae will be NPC again.

I think Cam and Naomi might be playable as they've actually wrestled but I see what you're saying. Theyre fantastic in the ring though. Maybe they'll be unlockable when you go through a season mode with Funkasaurse or something. I figure whatever divas that came out on stage this past Raw represents the division at this point. Of course I'd love for Trish to be some sort of unlockable legend. I think a great idea would be to have a great amount of WWE Hall of Famers as unlockable characters.

WWE has all kinds of ECW/WWE/WCW alumni and of course the hall of fame that could be used as unlockable characters throughout career mode or just exhibition modes. I'd love for the new game to go back to when you had to play every inch of the game to unlock cool stuff.

So say... Hall of Famers... I'll take my top 20.

I'd rather have those 20 than say... filler wrestlers/divas. I'd rather have a strong fun roster than people I'd never even watch on tv.

So, I've counted about 75 possible wrestlers on the roster but I'm pretty sure they can narrow it down to either 55-70. Especially if you consider that people probably won't play with half of the HoF I posted. The only 10 out of 20 I would pick would be...

<p>They should also look into how RAW 2's pyro, smoke lighting, etc for entrances, arena and crowd were AWESOME in comparison to Smackdown. And I really hope they watch WWE programming for about a month or two and really get how WWE live shows are to a T. (As Raw 2 did.)</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The backstage segments should look IDENTICAL to how they are on tv. And with created players, they could record about 20 distinct voices (10 male/10 female) allow pitch control to make them either high or lower (deep voice) like Soul Calibur and have interactive cutscenes which will allow your character to make decisions throught career mode that will affect your moral and ranking within the WWE Nation which plays into title shots and where you stand with the heads of WWE who make decisions.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>I also think you should be able to speak to the heads of WWE about match opportunities which will help you with your rankings. Different WWE heads work different and on different levels. Say...</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>- Mr. McMahon mainly deals with Top 10 rankings. CAWs and lower rank wrestlers will seldomly speak to Mr McMahon however, the moment you pass him backstage, you'll have the opportunity to impress him with whatever match he puts you in (normally with someone Top 10/15 in the rankings to help boost your rankings or stale your WWE career depending on match results. You'll rarely meet him if you're lower ranked. These also lead into feuds where you'll either make or break your career within the rankings. He grants title matches for all titles.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>- Stephanie McMahon is pretty much low key. Caring but don't disrespect her or you'll pay both in a match and automatically with backstage moral and rankings. She's mostly there for morality and matches. Nothing major. If you're ranked between 10 - 75 (including CAWS) you'll be put in normal matches just to help with ranking. Only grants Diva and tag title matches.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>- Vicki is a obnoxious and will normally tag you up against your rivals in tag matches. She's pretty much a feud starter. Expect to be in any kind of match with random stipulations. Grants titles matches for all titles but most matches are meant to build upon ranking and #1 contendership.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>- Booker is pretty much in the same position as Vicki but more approachable on the Smackdown brand. You'll basically build on rankings there.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>- WWE Hall of Fame/Legends will give you an opportunity at some point within your career (normally within the top 15 ranking in hopes of breaking into the top 10 ranking) to boost rankings and morality. This is usually on a Raw Anniversary show but you may catch them back stage at any show. They're mainly there to give you a nod of approval. However, if you're aiming to be a heel character, you might as well disrespect them to get a pop or that super edge you need going into the top rankings. It'll get you noticed more.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>That's pretty much it. Also, morality also plays a hand into title shots. Heels don't face heels but faces can go against faces. Quick example, if you're a Diva and AJ (heel) has the title, you'll probably want to make sure you're more of a face. It'll increase your overall chances at facing her for the title as the system will pretty much based off of faces vs. heels (character turns) Not saying you'll have to do a million good deeds to become a face/heel but respecting/disrespecting the right people help.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>CAWS can also gain experience points which will take you a great amount of time to get that'll help you within your career on your journey to the top. You can also leave WWE NXT with &nbsp;great amount of EX points depending on how well of a match you put on within a certain period of time. WWE NXT should basically prepare you for the big times until you are called up to do WWE House Shows and so on. But again, you could possibly debut on a Raw depending on who approaches you. And this is where your career begins.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Jim Ross, Vince McMahon, HHH and Paul Heyman will act as the natural talent scout for WWE. They'll eventually approach you within sometime during your WWE NXT career. It's your choice to either stay with NXT and train more (which you'll be respected for and earn Experience points) or you'll choose to head into WWE. With WWE NXT, you have the option to be a singles wrestler, a tag team, or diva.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Tag Teams may eventually split up once you hit it big time as most tag teams do. Within career mode, either member will be given opportunities for singles competition where you'll either cheer them on or become jealous. Their career can take off but yours may not. They may even turn on you. Understand that during career mode, during tag matches you will control them both. However, backstage segments maybe out of your control as your tag member controlled by CPU will either bring you match opportunities or get you into trouble. Those decisions will effect both of morals but it will be ultimately up to you to figure out if the tag team is worth staying in as your career progress. You will have to make a choice as to which tag team member your use from the start of NXT as you'll still be viewed as a singles competitor. You will ultimately make the decisions for where you &nbsp;take your career. The fun part about being a CAW in career mode is that you'll always be able to edit your attire to gain a bit of edge. Experience points will double as purchase points allowing you to open tons of new CAW attire for the overall CAW mode and access to entrance effects such as pyro. Just don't waste it all.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Divas will train and may either come in as a single wrestle and start fresh or debut with a mystery wrestler as a valet and start off either heel or face depending on the wrestler. Someone typical mid card. Just know that as a valet, you can be fired if the wrestler loses too many matches. Being fired leads you into becoming a singles wrestler (and weak) and you start at the bottom of the division. However, being a valet you'll gain tons of experience points, morality and you can pretty much get over with the crowd quick which will impress the WWE heads and allow you to go for #1 contender matches and possibly a title shot. You may always valet as it'll help you with EXPERIENCE POINTS.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>- Jim Ross &amp; Mr McMahon and Stephanie McMahon will lead you into house shows leading into Raw/Smackdown debut.&nbsp;<strong>You are neutral.&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>- HHH will lead you straight to either Raw or Smackdown. HHH will check on you from time to time. Respect or disrespect will either lead to better opportunity or the demise of your career as he will try to destroy you.&nbsp;<strong>You are a face. turning on HHH makes you a heel.</strong></p>
<p>- Paul Heyman (The big opportunity Guy) will lead you straight into either Raw/Smackdown or a PPV debut where he will manage your career by handling your backstage opportunities. At a certain point in your career, Paul Heyman will either turn on you and you'll face one of his other clients or you can let Paul Heyman go. Either he'll attack you and you'll feud with one of his clients until the end of the calendar month if you've really made a name for yourself or he'll move on.&nbsp;<strong>You are a heel originally. Leaving Paul makes you a face.</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

Ugh. Not sure why it posted the way it did.

Each wrestler has a backstage tactic. The Rock in typical fashion only comes for a Top 5 wrestler around Wrestlemania. Feuding with him  helps you remain at the top of the company. From calling you out to the ring, him cutting a promo, you calling out him or even a backstage or in ring brawl. You'll eventually face off at The Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber or Wrestlemania. He is not that active in season mode but his ranking is so high that he can basically come and and get anything he wants. If you choose him for career mode, you start off pretty high in the rankings and you do what you you as you've earned the right to do so.

(The #1 ranked guy/diva of any division can pretty much do what they want until their odds are stacked against them. That usually happens when you are placed inside of specialty matches or matches outside of 1 vs 1. They are also cheered or booed based on morality levels in comparison to the other wrestler as even now, heels receive a much bigger pop than a face.)

The Shield will attack you and place you pretty much into a Kane, Orton, Shemus situation. you'll either get along or you won't. The object is still to win the match. Also, in these situations, a tag member can not show up to the match at all making it a 2 vs 3 match. It'll be your choice to make it a big deal or not. The objective in career mode is to keep your name out there and to remain booked on Raw/Smackdown/PPVs.

The Undertaker with his Wrestlemania match up. It doesn't always happen. It's an honorable match. He's a tough opponent as in that match is set on like EXTREMELY HARD lol so, good luck. If you win, you win. He extends his hand. (Respect or disrespect him) You might want to get over with him though because he helps rankings and morality.

And the rest. There should be pretty much general backstage segments that will allow you to interact with people but it's not an OPEN WORLD kind of feel. You'll be "BACKSTAGE" at a show and will be approached through cutscenes by different people in order to gain oppotunites and exp/morality points. Wrestlers will ask you to tag team with them for a match because they don't have a partner, call you out. You may interfere a match with a rival to start a feud or insert yourself into a triple threat feud. You maybe asked by a GM to show up and face someone on another show. (booking yourself matches) All kinds of events.

Also, you can ultimately be fired but any head WWE Figure which will take you out of the rankings until further notice. Being fired is do to poor match rankings and rivaling too many head WWE Figures. Career mode is over. Start Again. Also, as a CAW, you can be released from WWE which means you're not getting over with the crowd.
