Looking around on the forum there doesn't seem to be an NXT thread, could be wrong but can't see it anywhere. Anyway, haven't seen this week's NXT yet but getting round to it today. Who are your current favourites from NXT?

 

Mine are as it stands:

 

* Sami Zayn:- Guy is a star, natural babyface. Obviously one of the best in the ring, has charisma and surprisingly very good promo skills. He's gonna be one of the next big things in my opinion

 

* Enzo Amore:- Entertaining as hell. Fantastic promo skills, charismatic and a great gimmick. Guy is just super fun.

 

* Paige:- Badass alternative look, is much more vicious and nasty than pretty much all the divas which I love. Can work, super over and is only 21 years old. Is gonna get better and better.

 

* Emma:- This girl is an enigma. Super fun babyface, great character and a really good worker. Can't help but love her infectious personality.

 

* Bayley:- Best worker out of the NXT divas. Another great character and gimmick. Plays it to the absolute tee.

 

* Tyler Breeze:- Absolutely hilarious. Another extremely character driven wrestler who plays his gimmick phenomenally well.

 

 

So yeah, discuss NXT here. Hopefully this thread will take off.

Favorites:

Neville: The guy's a f***ing highlight reel. His finisher is awesome, he's electric, but his new theme sucks.

Zayn: Crowd favorite, awesome wrestler, oh and... OLE!

Enzo: You should know why.. if you don't... then you're SAWFT!

Corey Graves: This dude is a bada**. Kinda underrated in my opinion.

Bayley: Her gimmick is hilarious. that backstage interview with AJ about a month ago was just so cute and hilarious. 

Tyler Breeze: Entertaining. Over. He's got it all. haha.

My favorites are: Paige, Sami, CJ Parker, Graves and Bayley. All of them have a great look and are entertaining in one way or another imo. Also, I can't legitimately like him, 'cause of his look but I think Bo Dallas is a great heel. His role is just amazing imo and it's so effective.

I enjoy watching 45 minutes of NXT each week than 3 hours of Raw, nearly all of the roster are talented and entertaining in their own way. The gimmicks are fresh and interesting and the matches actually contain...well...wrestling the fact that Divas actually get more than 2 minutes a show raises my hope that the Divas division won't die out over the coming years.The current talent is by far some of the best i have seen in any period of WWE'S developmental system seeing Paige,Emma,Zayn and Graves compete in solid match ups mixed with main roster talent every couple of weeks makes me look forward to the future of the main roster. If you haven't already give NXT a watch.

It's unreal how much NXT's grown over the last year, I would be more then happy to sit and watch NXT for 2/3 hours instead of Raw/Smackdown. The crowds at the NXT events actually seem into the wrestling which helps the show a lot as crowd interaction is a big part of wrestling. Some of my favourites include Enzo Amore & Big Cass, Adrian Neville, Corey Graves, Scott Dawson, Paige and Emma. I actually take an interest in the diva division in NXT, seems like they actually get the respect they need.

Watched this week's NXT.

 

* Tag Gauntlet was real fun. Breeze is over. Enzo and Cass got booked really well in this match.

 

* Sasha/Bayley match was really good. Bayley is becoming my new favourite NXT diva. Awesome. Renee was on commentary! Summer's promos were bad.

 

* Aidan English continues to impress.

 

* Zayn is the most over wrestler by far on NXT. Had a short and sweet match with El Local (Ricardo). Dallas interrupted and cut a surprisingly really good promo. He's starting to really get comfortable with his gimmick and is improving his promos and character.

 

* HHH promo was good. JBL's was even better. Short but awesome heel promo as the new GM.

 

Really fun NXT this week, enjoyed it a lot.

I'm in the midst of finishing up NXT this week:

 

-Not crazy on how over the top CJ Parker is. It's a cool gimmick, but he's just not connecting with me. 

 

-The combination of Breeze, Amore, and Big Cass in the same match...Oh hell yeah! 

 

-Bayley vs. Sasha Banks was okay. I'm happy they changed Banks' music. Her heel turn came across incredibly awkward when they played her old music after she attacked Paige. If they just would've kept things silent, it would've sounded much better on TV. I like the pairing of her and Summer Rae, I don't like Summer Rae's yelling into the mic or her mic skills. 

 

-EMMA!

 

-Aiden English is absolutely incredible. I knew this guy had talent, I had no idea that he was this good. 

 

-Simple thinking: Zayn = Over

 

-Kassius! Kassius! Kassius is back, baby!

 

The one big flaw with NXT right now is their lack of a main event scene. Big E was able to keep the title relevant, Bo hasn't done the same. Once they fix that, this show will be by far the best wrestling show right now.

NXT thoughts from this week

 

Emma/Santino vs Fandango/Rae, Emma in that power walk that was fucking awesome.I love her and Paige, thes two have some charisma, they could give half of it to some of the Divas on the main roster, and they would still be fine lol.The match itself, it didn't blow me away but it was entertaining on both sides for each team.Hot potato with the tagging funny as hell.

 

 

Ah brother Kassius vs Luke Harper, Ohno looks in way better shape and looks highly motivated.Even though Harper was the victor, he looked good, no shock you gotta make the Wyatt family look unstoppable.

 

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, I think I have few friends who act like this without the ascent lol.Cassady said I wouldn't let you fix my car, and Enzo saying he doesn't wear no shoes lol.I think these two need to come up now!

 

Hype is the strongest force in the world, I thought Hulkamania was?Mojo probably hypes himself up with a bottle of Vodka and two Red bulls it seems.

 

Ascension vs Graves/Neville tag titles on the line, both teams look great and I love when both teams look great, and you can see these know what they are doing in there.Neville a house of fire when he comes in damn, the man never stops moving lol.Ascension new champions good for them but no one cared, so who will be their next challengers..wink..wink their not SAWFT!

 

Rvd on NXT next week, who gets to feel the Five Star Frog Splash hmm.Now time for the Bo Dallas Invitational , when he said in two weeks they get a shot at the NXTTTTTT Championship, sounds like an Alien talking.Let's go this guy from the crowd lol.Ah Bo, don't you know Zayn knows Bo is going to lose the NXT Title, and Kruger and Cesaro coming out!! El Local beats Bo aka Sammy Zayn, he learned that trick from Malenko.

Bo Dallas: listen he is such an awesome heel i just love it when he talks 

 

Paige: Cute,Adorable and is pretty talented in ring no doubting that plus she is my future wife

 

Emma: Her gimmick is fun and enjoyable she had a good match with paige as well 

 

Adrian neville: What he lacks in charisma is made up with his ability to defy the laws of gravity 

 

Kassius Ohno,Cory Graves,Solomon Crowe,Banks aggressive character and so many other who can fit in easily on the main roster no doubt even NXT is better than TNA jam packed with talent and independent stars

At the moment, NXT is my favourite WWE show. It has everything a WWE fan would want and also appeals to those hardcore Indy fans.

 

My favourites are:

 

Big Cass and Enzo Amore - Enzo has it all, his mic work is untouchable in developmental and is better than 90% of the main roster. He can also wrestle and him having Big Cass in his corner really helps. The small guy and the big guy is always good, especially like this. Colin Cassidy is working on his mic work and it a decent worker in the ring. I hope these two stay together as they could work wonders together. They are a legitimate team and also have the comedy skills to appeal to everyone.

 

Corey Graves - After the surprising success, some would say, of CM Punk. Corey Graves must be relishing the fact that he's close to a main roster call up. At first, noone thought Punk would do what he's done other than Heyman. Maybe the same will happen with Graves. Another full package. He has the modern day wrestler look. The charisma and the ability. A submission specialist of some sorts also. The world is at his feet. I hope he takes a strong grasp on it.

 

Emma - This girl is awesome. After watching her match with Santino against Fandango and Summer Rae, I really hope she can work with him on the main roster. I'm not a huge Santino fan but with Emma, it's really entertaining. Also, the Australian accent made me fall in love with her. If this happened, I could watch Fandango/Summer vs. Santino/Emma all the time.

 

Kassius Ohno - Who isn't a Chris Hero fan? He's lost weight and toned up too which is what WWE wanted from him. Besides that, he's incredible in the ring and needs to be on the main roster as he isn't getting any younger. He emulates the in ring ability of William Regal and Regal is a wrestling God. WWE need to use this guy now or regret it forever.

 

Sami Zayn - I thought noone would take to him after losing the El Generico gimmick but my God, was I wrong? This guy has taken the company by storm and can make a lot of the main roster look like amateurs. If WWE stays PG forever, Sami will thrive. Everyone loves him. He can wrestle better than most. He has the charisma and a decent look. Push him up now!

 

The Ascension - These two guys are so good. A PG era needs it's demons. Kane, Bray Wyatt and The Ascension need to scare kids only for the good guys to save the day and make peace. These two should be being used right now.

This week's NXT was fun:

 

* opening tag was super fun and had a lot of hilarious spots. Renee on commentary again <3.

 

* Harper is a beast. Sad that Ohno got squashed in 4 minutes though.

 

* Enzo continues being the man. Him and Big Cass are fucking awesome.

 

* Ascension win the tag titles in a pretty good match. Still not really on board with the new incarnation. Just doesn't feel the same at all. But better having the titles on a legit team than Neville and Graves. I hope this means Graves and Neville are splitting. I love Neville in the ring but this team is so boring. Graves desperately needs a heel turn to spark some life into him. The definition of mediocre right now.

 

* RVD on NXT next week should be awesome.

 

* Bo Dallas invitational was also fun. Bo's promo was pretty awful though to say the least. "LETS GO THIS GUY!" is  a chant of the contender LOL. Absolutely hilarious. Cesaro and Kruger fighting over Bo was awesome (I popped huge for Cesaro). And of course Sami dressed as El Local was awesome. Marked for the Yakuza kick. Reveal was done super well. Looking forward to Sami facing Bo for the title.

You must have charisma mistaken with mic skills because Adrian Neville has TONS of charisma. Charisma is being able to connect with the crowd, and his ring work really helps that. You can be charismatic without having mic skills, although it helps. Neville is in the same boat as Cesaro and Del Rio, very impressive in the ring, but lacks in the promo department. But when they are in the ring the crowd are excited with every move they do.

 

Emma is just so perfect. <3 Her ring work really complements her character.

 

Enzo is just madly entertaining, I love him. lmfao

 

Sami is my fave for sure of the guys. I've been following most of his career, so it's good to see him on the big stage.
