So far, it appears that setting all 7 attributes you can edit in-game to 100 (via hex editor, though), then changing the eighth attribute to FF, gives a CAW or any other superstar nearly infinite health.
This makes me think that the last attribute is the actual "health" attribute, and determines how much damage your chosen wrestler can absorb. If it's set to 00, however, the amount of damage you can take is instead determined by your character's durability rating.
I'll have to see if this is indeed true by taking one of my Mewtwo into an Iron Man match (graciously provided by Universe mode! ). His opponent: Seth Rollins, former Shield member and current up-and-comer in WWE (along with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, each going his separate way).
Result: Mewtwo wins (of course), but here's the interesting part: once again, Mewtwo wasn't even pushed to his "Kip-up" point (where the Kip-up symbol appears after he's downed).
EDIT: It turns out that an all-100 7-stat loadout, along with a full FF in the eighth attribute, does NOT make a CAW completely indestructible. He will eventually show signs of fatigue and/or injury at around the 15 minute mark. Thus, the AI can pretty much kiss any chance of winning any shorter matches goodbye.
Also, the Championship Scramble won't freeze if two or fewer CAWs are involved. Also, if two CAWs are involved, then they must be the ones to start the match. If only one CAW is involved, he must be given the first slot in the match.
