You "try" too hard bro. And when you try you just come up short. I tried explaining that to you when we first met, then you showed me who you were and I came up short for trying just like you do all the time here.
Mystique is still cooler than you.

Just throwing my two cents here. I would see where RK is coming from, but I think what he's overlooking is that the username was made only as a joke/parody (inspired by something similar that happened in TNA I think) so I find it completely harmless. And like it's been said, it's obvious that the actions that are made in the forum is what determines whether someone gets promoted or not, and I'm sure Dazman is well aware of it. Clearly the "campaigning" is nothing more than a joke not to be taken seriously.
I really hope you're right about this, Andy. I'm not flinching in the slightest on where I stand but if it's all a joke than so be it. I strongly think Dazman would have admitted to it long before this even started.

You've known me as a member long enough RKHT, this was a simple suggestion made by Noob Salibot in this very topic that I thought sounded like a cool idea and something original but it has become much bigger than it should have and caused more trouble than it's worth. It was a joke but I wanted to make it look as legit as possible. If I was serious I'd have put it in my status updates and created topics asking members to spam staff to consider me but I haven't done any of that. People just took what I was doing the wrong way and made it into a bigger deal than it is. I feel I've worked even harder than usual this month submitting news and creating topics, rather than begging for votes that mean nothing. At the end of the day I believe in this place and give 100% everytime I log in here to the time I sign out but if you would like me to go revert back and change my username to Dazman for the sake of it not looking like anything is being handed to me thus causing more problems then I shall. The whole idea has ran it's course now anyway.

Hypothetically speaking, if you were to be promoted with that username than it would appear as a tainted promotion in my opinion. It's just as if we were to give free promotions for using #hashtags in our names encouraging members/staff to give us a hand out. I should just change my username to #RKHTForSDHOwner and parade around the message boards using every opportunity to post all that I can to push myself into a main event title picture. I could make flyers, kiss babies, use paid commercials, give out bumper stickers, have my face posted on billboards, have vlogs made on Youtube, have all my friends on MySpace use the promo code name for my advertisements, ask everyone I know to "like" my campaign message on Facebook and spread it online, create an app on The WWE Network so that the WWE Universe can vote for me, I'd make a request to 2K Games so that I'd have my campaign open online on their servers so that users can vote there also, write blogs for support over the internet, make topics on various forums for the promotion on SDH, have my name on menu items I.E. the "RKHT Double Bacon Grilled Onion Burger with three cheeses including Cheddar, Swiss, and Provolone" across the nation with restaurant owners asking patrons to support me on SDH, do movie premieres with interviews speaking about the trials and tribulations of campaigning for a promotion that hasn't come, do radio interviews with stations like KROQ, have a podcast interview with Steve Austin asking me about my upcoming SDH promotion for owner and if I'd drink alcohol on the job and give stunners and middle fingers to trolls/advertisers/spammers/bots, have television deals lined up with networks promoting a reality series where I'm campaigning for a promotion showcasing the real life struggles and pain of living in mediocrity, and a whole lot more where that came from.
A bit too much? Okay, well that's the extent of ridiculousness that we've reached with this entire campaign idea. If someone here takes you up on your joke than our promotion procedures will be more fixed than the White House elections for presidency. You're too good for a campaign, don't take the easy way out. This isn't what we're about around here, you're above the campaigning and you shouldn't lower yourself to the point where you're pleading to get promoted. Yes, it's all good to know you were kidding around but the way we promote people around here is quite the opposite. It would set a bad example, change your name if you choose but I've said everything I think I could say about this.

Is that actually you RKHT? You're the last person on the forum I'd expect to see a post like this from and I've said I'll change it if it bothers you so much because I respect you mand your opinion more than anyone else's however there's no need to go completely out of context with it. You know I work hard on here, just as hard as any other member and that I love and care about this place just as much as anyone whether you want to admit or not. No username could ever change that and as an admin you should know that I've never once asked anyone to go to Simone or Andy and demand them to give me a promotion, it's just a little fun man. If people feel it's tainted then that's their problem, I know I've worked hard, I know I deserve it. I bring activity to every area of this forum and do more than my fair share as a supporter and there's not a member, supporter, V.I.P, moderator, admin or owner that can deny that.

Nobody here increases activity in all the forums/sub forums---almost damn near impossible---however; your work ethic speaks for itself and thus you were a VIP (you never campaigned for it until now) but I'm speaking about the present time and this isn't what I'd expect from you either. I can't dispute your feelings for the forum nor can I say that you've handled yourself in a manner that would make me think you asked anyone to vouch for you to the owners. You're a good member and one that shouldn't have to go through such lengths for me or anyone else to take notice of your work and/or character. It doesn't take a whole lot for things to turn sideways. You're trying too hard for someone to recognize you. Listen to what Sir Vee Wells is saying, (not about the HOF remark but rather his insights) he actually made a comparison about you and he a while back and that's nothing to brush off lightly. If you're so passionate about what you do on this site than why should a campaign define your achievements and what you're about on SDH? You said you deserve a promotion but when you campaign for it than it seems you're not ready to take responsibility for not being inactive and letting it slip through your grasp. We all have to face the music, if our mistakes are to be dismissed and forgotten than there is no lesson learned for our actions have reactions. You can't expect to elevate yourself to where you once were based on things you've done right after you've been demoted. It'll be a deciding factor in your life if you choose to ignore that this isn't a race, it's not a competition, and it isn't something anyone can force to happen just because you want it to happen in your favor. There are plenty of members that would love to be in your spot but it's not without a steady climb up the mountain that we are reminded of all the perilous dangers and hardships...so we take our time to appreciate our surroundings I.E. a safe place with food and water and not to be confused with luxuries that are easily afforded when you've got resources available to you. Without a struggle, we can't be challenged to grow and mature to become better human beings.

Man, I don't wanna discourage dialogue at all, but I think you two are both taking it a little too far. RK said he thinks the campaigning gives off a vibe he doesn't like, Dazman says it's a joke. These long ass posts are only making it seem like you're super serious about the "issue" and want to stick it to one another.
