There is a good amount of details known about "NBA 2K16" but there is more to learn. A new leak reveals precious information about the basketball simulation game's My League, MyGM and MyTeam modes, as well as the all new 2K Pro-Am mode.
Operations Sports managed to save copies of the details, which Microsoft reportedly took down. The change for this mode in the title is that there will be team relocation, advanced team building, SimCast Live, staff carousel, and a new Draft Lottery and NBA Lottery.
According to Sports Blog, the other big takeaway from the leak is the newfound full customization in the MyTeam mode of the game. "NBA 2K16" will allow players to create their own team from scratch, along with their appearance down to the logo, uniform and arena.
The same goes for MyLeague, which will put the player in control of the league they want. Here, gamers can determine how many games will entail a whole season, turning off the salary cap and basically having the power over the trades that happen in "NBA 2K16."
On MyCareer, which was developed by filmmaker Spike Lee, gamers will go through all the good, bad and the worst of chasing the basketball dream. Players will start partaking in the high school hoops, choosing a college team, and eventually getting into an NBA team.
It won't be all about making scores in court and hearing fans cheer for their teams from the bleachers though, as players will also be challenged in handling "money, fame, temptations, family members, the press and the fans," which, in real life, are dealt with as well.
In the all new 2K Pro-Am, the best "NBA 2K16" players will square off against each other. There will be five-on-five matches in the arena that allow up to 40 players playing all at once. Players can also take a fully customized team to compete in the Power Rankings mode.
"NBA 2K16" has Play Now for single-game experiences. Lastly, the new MyPark feature lets players choose from three locations — Old Town Flyers, Rivet City Roughriders and The Sunset Beach Ballers — that they will call "home."
"NBA 2K16" will be released on Sept. 29.
