Thanks for sharing I enjoyed watching that. Wish we could still go backstage during No DQ matches. I'm not the biggest fan of the backstage brawls in recent games but I do like environmental grapples!

I've got many fond memories playing the very first Smackdown! It wasn't the best looking game but it delivered on many levels based on backstage fights, weapons, intergender matches, matches such as; I quit, Falls Count Anywhere, Special Referee, Royal Rumbles, Battle Royals, etc. There were also win/loss infos of your matches too. I remember playing as D-Low Brown and using the Low Down in a fatal four way match and knocking out all four wrestlers XD. Very rare incident, but true, it never happened since.

I never heard of this before but the guy in this video said you can play this game on the ps3 if you have the ps1 disc?
Might be of interest to you...

Every PS3 is able to Run PSX Titles.
most work perfect, others have some little bugs.

For those of us that didn't finish playing certain Smackdown! video games (namely Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role, for me) I'm very satisfied that I viewed the footage. It's like a time capsule back to PS1 games, so many changes, I can't remember them all. The creation modes (i.e. create a taunt, ect) backstage areas, backstage special referee, HIAC, intergender brawls, the improved features to CAW and more. In Smackdown! 2 we could actually add "layers" to our CAWs instead of just picking a head, torso, and legs in the original Smackdown! XD Those moves were classic also, removed and/or never brought back, *&^@%!* THQ. Great video!
