Submission Cheese

02 January 2016 - 04:01 PM

I got WWE 2K16 on christmas, and I was enjoying it. I mean I didn't know the pin system moved on its own at first so I lost the first match, but that's a different story. The second match I had saw me losing by submission. At first I thought it was a fluke and I said, "alright I'll try again after I play some other games." A day or two later, I was having a good match with Jericho against some midcarder I don't remember lol. Everything was going good until I got caught in an arm submission. With no damage to the arm or anything, I tapped.

Bruh, this submission system is very hard this year. I need some tips on how to combat this. I can't really make the CPU tap either as they know exactly where I'm going a lot. Help me people! I want to enjoy this game because it really is an improvement over the not-so great 2K15. I don't want to start a universe fully without knowing how to make people submit or escape a submission.

Opinions Needed for Purchasing 2K16

03 November 2015 - 10:19 PM

Hello people. As of late, I've had the urge to purchase a new game with my own money. I've been thinking heavily about getting WWE 2K16. I've read reviews and heard great things with experience and such. The only thing that has me questioning buying the game are the negatively received submission system (which I heard a better way to do it) and the review I read from Operation Sports.

So I was wanted to know, from people who own the game, the following:

1) How is the creation suite? Is it as great as advertised?

2) How is the Universe mode? Is there any replay value?

3) What are you guys' takes on the gameplay? (Just to be sure)

4) Is it fun? Fun should always be over all. And I haven't had fun since 2K15's gameplay.

Thanks in advance guys!

Another Big Name Leaves TNA

24 July 2015 - 07:04 PM

According to PWInsider.com, Bully Ray is already gone from TNA Wrestling, just one week after making his return to television as the brand new on-screen authority figure. The company spent a lot of time building up the Hall of Famer’s return, with Dixie Carter herself making an appearance to name him the new authority of Impact Wrestling.

Bully was not backstage at any of this week’s TNA television tapings in Orlando, despite living in the area. His absence was noted within the locker room, and rumors started making rounds that he had left the promotion. Like many others at this point – including Austin Aries and James Storm, who did in fact work this week’s tapings – Bully was on a per-appearance deal with TNA, giving him the ability to back out whenever he wanted to.
