How are you all finding the new season? My beloved Trail Blazers are doing ok at the moment, 3-2. That last game hurt vs. the Clippers though, lol. Gordon Hayward getting injured sucks though, gruesome stuff; literally saw the dudes ankle snap.

Fortunately, they kept Jae Crowder. Celtics believes he's a big part of their success during the previous season. I think we're gonna see Gordon Hayward playing in his secondary position (SG) this season, and Crowder is the small forward.

Yeah Crowder is a good defender, true, but like you say, Hayward is coming in to fight for his spot, as is Jayson Tatum who looked great in the Summer League just gone, to go with Jaylen Brown as well. There's a lot of competition for the SF at the Celtics...

Sorry buddy, but Blazers sucks. I'm glad you're not a member of #DubNation since you're recently into basketball. #ClutchCity #FearTheBeard

C'mon dude, the Blazers don't suck! The management sucks for giving players like Meyers Leonard, Evan Turner and Allen Crabbe HUGE contracts when they don't deserve them, but I wouldn't say we suck, not in the sense of how bad someone like the Nets or the Kings are. We've got one of the best backcourts in the league with Dame and CJ, one that rivals Washington's, although it is below the Splash Bros and Harden/Paul.

And yeah I feel you re. the Warriors. You can't help but say how good they are, their bandwagon fans of Silicon Valley tech morons I can't stand though.

Anyone else following the free agency moves?

Not sure how CP3 and James Harden is going to work out on the Rockets considering Harden was moved to the Point this past season and also likes to be the team's primary ball-handler; a trait that Chris Paul also has. They'll probably move Harden back to the two guard and have a mix of the two handling the ball and running plays. Still though, acquiring Chris Paul can only make the team better considering his talents. Will be interesting to see how the Rockets do this season considering their over-achievements last.

The PG13 to OKC trade is a little perplexing too considering Paul George's well documented intentions on joining the Lakers... OKC traded some decent assets for what may only become a one year rental if PG does leave next summer as a free agent for LA.

Gordon Hayward getting $124m for 4 years is ludicrous too, he's a good player but he's not worth that much whatsoever, not really a fan of him personally. I think the Celtics trading Avery Bradley will possibly hurt them too, the dude is one of the best defensive guards in the league and the intensity he shows every game I don't think can be rivaled by any other Celtics player, puts in a lot of effort and ultimately I think it might cost them.

P.S. I've just recently got into Basketball and specifically the NBA (around the time of the start of the 2017 Playoffs). I support the Blazers too #ripcity
