In Topic: Will Daniel Bryan Be At Extreme Rules? + Neville Update

Such a shame that he didn't compete :( I seriously don't care if he has to vacate the title or something, and take some time off to recover. I wish he didn't come back at the Rumble if I'm being honest. As great and entertaining as it's been to see him back in action, he hasn't made a huge impact. I understand that he wanted to come back early for the fans and his passion for wrestling, but in the long term it probably would've been better for him to have taken as long as he needed to fully recover. Hopefully he's ok :)

As sad and unfortunate as these injuries were, pro wrestling today (especially WWE) is incredibly safe. People may complain about WWE being 'too PG', but it keeps the wrestlers safe as well as entertaining the fans.

Would love to see Ronda compete at 'Mania. Don't want The Rock to have an in-ring return because it's no secret I'm sick of part-timers and stars of the past constantly being the centre of attention. I don't mind him doing another segment, but please no in-ring return. Hope the Rousey stuff works out though, would be awesome if she competes at the grand stage next year.

Wouldn't Ronda count as a part timer ;)
Yeah, but it'll be her first even match in WWE and who wouldn't love to see one of the best MMA fighters in the world compete in a WWE ring? She's not a Bret Hart or Sting or Rock coming back to put on underwhelming performances after decades for pure nostalgia, because they haven't been relevant as competitors for years. She's incredibly relevant in her field of work which is very much related with wrestling. It'll be something special

Well said, I completely agree with you :)

EDIT - Not about part timers in general though, I agree with what you say about Rousey. But I still love part timers such as The Rock, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, etc.
Oh, I love them too. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike part-timers in general, I'm just against the ones who quite clearly can't go in the ring anymore and are brought back just as a short-term fix to make money, since they used to make money years ago and were big stars. Guys like Hunter, Brock... they can still go and in one way or another, add a lot to the long-term scenario of the product despite wrestling a few times. My issue is with the guys who only pop up during WrestleMania season and whose in-ring careers were done long ago. Investing so much in them when they can't deliver a good performance instead of focusing on the current, active stars who'll actually stand to gain is what I'm against.

Oh cool, that makes sense :) Yeah people like Brock and Hunter can still go, and they're still relevant with their storylines. But I get what you mean when they bring people like The Rock back around WrestleMania just to make some money, it sucks when they take the spot of an active superstar :/

Holy fuck... this video cringed me out so much. Obviously they're all terrible injuries, but watching 7, 5, and 4 has freaked me out. After watching this video, I seriously have a huge amount of respect for Mick Foley. I've always known he's been extreme, but losing his ear and other things just to entertain the fans is hardcore. What an incredible man.
