In Topic: The ONE Guy You Wanted to Make It In WWE But Didn't.

Has no one mentioned owen hart? I know he was a highly decorated superstar in the 90's but I believe he had all the tools to be a great heel world champion. Maybe it would've happened later if not for his tragic death. We'll never know.

I'd say what happened to the guy who liked to take risks to give the fans a good product. I'd tell him that just because he beat all his competition, he shouldn't stop taking risks to make the product the best it can be. I'd also point out that with the talent currently in the company that the product shouldn't be so stale

Took some thought but ok here goes.

1) Now don't laugh at this 1st choice. I was only 6 or 7 yrs old at the time and is the one and only time I legit cried over a wrestling match. It was I think 1990 or possibly 91. Hulk hogan was defending the wwf title against the undertaker at survivor series. Now at the age I was I had no idea wrestling was scripted and these people were portraying characters. To me it was all real. Hogan was a heroic god fearing patriotic world champion and I was a little hulkamaniac. The undertaker was literally a dead person somehow brought to life by Paul bearers urn and I was terrified of him. Coming from the uk the show wouldn't of been on TV til 1 am but my dad stayed up to watch it and recorded it for me on vhs lol. I woke up the next morning expecting to hear of another hogan victory but my dad broke it to me that I lost and my mum made things worse by telling me undertaker had killed hogan lol. Thanks mum. Anyway I couldn't watch it til after school so I still had hope they were lying. But no when I watched and saw flair slide in the chair and the tombstone, the 1 2 3. I blurted my eyes out for around an hour thinking hulkamania was well and truly dead lol. When I got older and began to understand the wrestling business I often wondered why they never gave taker a decent run with that first title reign.

My number 2 and 3 picks are not as lengthy as the 1st and tbh they didn't upset me but more pissed me of a little as they didn't make any sense to me.

2) Brock Lesnar defeating the streak. Now I'm not one the people who think undertaker should of retired undefeated at wrestlemania. From what I've read and heard about taker he's the kinda guy that likes to give to the business. And what better way to give than to be the guy that beats taker at mania. To me a great idea. But totally the wring guy. I heard Vince on the austin podcast saying he gave that honour to brock because the nxt guy to beat brock would get the huge rub of been the guy to beat the only guy to beat taker at mania. That's bs cuz the guy Vince chose to beat brock is apparently roman reigns Who imo will gain nothing from the fact brock eneded the streak. To me a better idea would of been to prolong the streak to this year and have bray beat the taker. A guy with a totally different yet similar gimmick and would truly benifit from ending the streak.

3) The rock beating cm punk for the wwe title at the royal rumble. Wtf Vince. Now I'm not gonna go on a huge rant and beg punk to come back. I kinda new he was gone for good a few weeks after he walked out. What pissed me of about this is punk had been champion for 400 and however many days it had been. And just cuz rock asks Vince to give him the belt he becomes the one to beat punk and gets an irrelevant title run. Now what if punk beat rock. Punk beat Cena at mania. And punk chose Daniel Bryan to be his opponent at summerslam. A much better option imo

There we go. My 3 picks. Sorry that they're so long winded.

I'm still wondering why Hulk Hogan hasn't been involved yet.

Hogan is a surprise entrant in the Andre the giant battle royal 😂😂😂
