For the first time ever, WWE 2K15 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One introduces a career-driven mode that will serve as a building block for future titles. Take your custom Superstar through an unprecedented WWE career spanning countless hours of gameplay. From NXT to RAW, make your way up to the WWE Championship and live the life of a real WWE Superstar.

Players will begin MyCareer by taking characters they create in WWE 2K15's Creation Suite to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. While there, they will be trained by WWE Performance Center head coach Bill DeMott, as they navigate a series of objectives. Successful completion of the objectives will lead players to compete at NXT, WWE's developmental system for rising young talent, where they will continue with matches and new objectives.

After mastering their skills in NXT, players will move up to WWE's main roster, where General Manager Vickie Guerrero will set matches and keep her Superstars focused through ultimatums designed to gain bonus rewards. Players will develop alliances and rivalries while competing to win spots on WWE Pay-Per-Views, Monday Night RAW & Friday Night SmackDown. They will also compete for the United States and Intercontinental Championships. Successful players will make their way to SummerSlam and WrestleMania, where the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as the top MyCareer prize.

As you play the matches, you’re rated on everything from the excitement level of the fans to the back-and-forth nature of your match. Good in-ring performances net you skill points to raise the multitude of Attributes you have. You can raise the maximum values one attribute at a time by spending “virtual currency” (VC) which you earn from hitting career milestones and achievements. This same currency allows you to acquire new Abilities, Skills & OMG Moments, hire managers, hold training sessions with other Superstars to learn their move sets, and more. You may end up wanting to “grind” in My Career to make your created wrestler a total beast rather than try to make it to the end as fast as possible.

Along the way, however, not much else really happens. You ran afoul of some factions, have a few one-on-one feuds, and occasionally have to endure difficult tests from authority figures, but you also have to endure an excruciating amount of filler. In between these major events, much of your time is spent working dark matches and tune-up matches, matches that have no bearing on any storylines, but do provide boosts to the amount of in-game currency or social media fans you earn, respectively. The problem is that after a few hours, those bonuses become far less meaningful.

It just goes on like this until you eventually win the WWE Championship, at which point the credits abruptly roll, and your career skips all the way ahead to your own retirement match at a future Wrestlemania. No title defenses past that initial win, just THE END followed by a few final exhibition matches.

The mode features a morality system to allow players to decide whether they want to play as a Face (fan favorite) or a Heel (rule breaker) with each choice having an effect on the meter. The mode lasts for as long as 15 years and it's a solo career (it can't be played as part of a tag team). To add some realism to the mode, it's possible to get injured during the MyCareer mode. Lastly, there is also a chance to become a Money in the Bank winner and cash in the contract.

CAREER INVASION
Your custom Superstar will show up in your friend’s careers. Up to five Superstars created by your friends will be automatically imported to potentially be a part of your MyCAREER (limit one per friend).
