Just this Friday another video was released on the Up Up Down Down Youtube channel.
This video had a lot of new details about the Create-A-Arena mode for 2K Battlegrounds, called "Battleground Creator".
So in this article, we will be talking about all of the information that was shown off in the video
Arena Themes
If you just want to quickly make a custom arena, then you can use one of the present templates in the game.
Some of the templates you can use include the Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Summerslam, Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania arenas.
But there are still some pretty nice looking generic themes to use as well.
For some of these templates, you will need to spend some in-game currency to unlock them for use.
Turnbuckle and Turnbuckle Pad
Once you are happy with the arena theme, then you are able to customize the arena how you like it.
This includes deciding on the design of the turnbuckle, which comes with quite a few cool options. Some of these designs even come with their own custom lighting fixtures.
When this has been chosen, you are then allowed to edit the designs of the turnbuckle padding.
Just like in other 2K WWE games, you are free to edit the top, middle, and bottom of the pads how you like to make them stand out for each other.
Ropes and Ring Mat
We then have a new feature to the game as just like with the turnbuckle pads, you are able to customize the ring ropes individually with different designs from each other.
Up next is the ring mat and while you do have options for normal wrestling ring mats, you also have other unique mats designs like bricks and stitching.
Ring Apron and Floor Design
Just like with the ring mat, the apron has choices for standard apron designs, but you also have designs such as paint covered and camouflage.
Once again for the design of the floor, you have the choice of a standard look however you also have a unique looking ice design for the floor.
Barricade and Crowds
Just like the other options, the player will have a choice of normal wrestling barricade designs however there are other types to use such as an animated basketball design or one that has its own custom lighting.
Once this has been decided, the next design the player can edit is the arena's crowd type which varies from construction workers, teenagers, or families.
Ring Mat Sticker and Arena Lighting
The next option to decide is the sticker to place on the arena's ring mat however these stickers appear to just be generic designs that you can choose from.
Then there is the arena lighting for the rampway and stage which gives the player the option of using various spotlights of even lasers.
Arena Effects and Arena Music
Next this the type of effects that will shoot out during superstar's entrances and victories with the player having the choice of fireworks, lasers, fire and banknotes.
You are also able to decide what music track will play in the arena, with the game giving you a good selection of tracks to pick from.
Arena Weapons and Name
You then can choose what weapons can be pulled out from under the ring, with the game giving you the options of a steel chair, hammer, guitar, and motorbike.
You will need to spend your in-game currency if you want to use the guitar or motorbike.
Finally, once you are happy with your options, all you need to do is give your custom arena a name.
