The final of the WWE 2K14 World Cup came down to sXeLeonardo (Batista) and TheEliteAssassin (John Cena), which faced each others on PlayStation 3.
TheEliteAssassin came out on top in a highly competitive back and forth match, worthy of being the final of this epic tournament, and he is the WWE 2K14 World Champion!
What can you do, CENAWINSLOL! Both players received the SDH exclusive unique forum Award for winning the side of the tournament of their respective systems, but only TheEliteAssassin will bring home the prize of WWE 2K15 for a console of his choosing. Congratulations!
The tournament was a huge success with almost 100 entries and 96 matches, and I would like to thank all of the partecipants who put on a great effort and proved their skills against other players from all over the world, with a few of them in particular coming very close to the finals. I would also like to give a special thanks to TheWWESimulations and BombCentralGaming for helping big time with recording matches and helping enforcing the rules, your help was crucial!
Congratulations again to TheEliteAssassin, and for all the others that came very close... there might be another chance next year!
Andy

TheWWESimulations and BombCentralGaming: Thank you so much for your help, what a pleasure that people like you helped out SDH when you were needed most in our time of need. :-)
96/100 is a damn great outcome! I'd like to thank everyone that participated in this tournament and especially to those that paved the path for others to eventually follow! Congratulations to sXeLeonardo and TheEliteAssassin for your efforts and hard work! Exclusive SDH forum awards will now belong to you both! As for TheEliteAssassin, you'll be bringing home a copy of WWE 2K15! Nice work! ;-D
Nice work Andy, this proved to be a great success! Let's see more of these tournaments again in the near future for SDH! :>

And we have our finalists for each system! It comes down to:
Xbox 360 Finals:Jet Starr vs. sXeLeonardoPS3 Finals:Noob Saibot vs. TheEliteAssassinCongratulations and good luck! The Xbox 360 side of things has an interesting trivia: the two semifinals losers, Tony SoccerBoy (who was eliminated by sXeLeonardo) and jakledw12 (who was eliminated by Jet Starr) actually defeated the opposite semifinal winners during the Group stages (Tony SoccerBoy defeated Jet Starr, and jakledw defeated sXeLeonardo). This shows how incredibly close the tournament was. Amazing!
I overlooked this message---this tournament had epic results---congratulations to you all that made it this far into the lead brackets!
