AMENDED:

Before you begin a current show, there should be a button that reads "My Universe"

From there, you may take the long route under the "Superstars" option and literally scroll through a vertical list of each Superstar>Find the one you want>Edit (In the case of PS4, it's the Triangle button)> Scroll down until you find "Shows"> Manually add each show that you want the Superstar to appear on (or, while we're at it, adding some former NXT guys to the "Main" shows where they now appear works the same way).

OR

Go to the Shows page>Find the show you want> Find "Roster Size" (The second option down)> The superstars screen comes up listing the superstars side-by-side>Press "X" over each Superstar that you wish to add to/remove from a particular show (For the CAW question, this option allows you to scroll across screens until it only displays "Custom" superstars).> Press "Start" to accept
