After numerous continuances, Jeff Hardy was in court today and pled guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a controlled substance and a single count of conspiracy to traffic in a substance containing opium, all felonies, pending from his September 11, 2009 arrest.

Hardy was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 30 months of probation and a $100,000 fine as a part of a plea deal that was reached. All other counts that were against Hardy were dropped, again due to the plea agreement reached.

Hardy's lawyer requested that Jeff be allowed to travel outside of North Carolina to work for TNA, and the request was granted.

Little update:

We noted earlier here on the website that TNA star Jeff Hardy was in court this morning in Moore County, North Carolina. He plead guilty to three felony drug charges. They include:

* Two counts of intent to distribute a controlled substance.
* one count of conspiracy to traffic in a compound containing opium.

These charges are from his September 11, 2009 arrest when police acted on a tip and raided his house. In exchange for pleading guilty, the other counts against Jeff were dropped.

Just to recap:

* Hardy will serve 10 days in jail and will pay a $100,000 fine.

* Hardy will then serve 30 months of probation. If Hardy violates probation, he'll likely be sent to jail.

* We're not sure when he'll start his 10 day sentence yet.

* Hardy has agreed to remain in a drug abuse treatment program.

* Jeff requested that he be allowed to travel outside North Carolina so he can continue working for TNA. That request was granted.

* Jeff Hardy returns to TNA iMPACT! tonight.

I remember watching the advertisement saying Jeff Hardy was returning to TNA. Now I read this thread that Jeff is headed to jail. No matter how the news reaches you first, I'm just left thinking WTF? Has this @^%! ended already..finally.....no more drama for Jeff Hardy? These court dates have been pushed back for so long. At last, Jeff Hardy plee deal was reached. I wish he returns to living a normal life already. Enough B.S.

Yeap. After many court visits, it's now end. Fines, jail and probation. Nothing more.

About time, maybe the time in there will do him good. Im sick of people like him getting away with things. He was a performer for us all and role model to kids. Hes smoked himself stupid, you can tell in his videos with his brother that both of them took too many blows to the head. We watched them start and will to the end and get to see how people can fall. I wish him the best and hope he finds what hes looking for in life.

@NOR-BROSKY Jeff Hardy is a former WWE, and TNA wrestler. Now he is on a jail, so this is at wrestling discution. Ok let's stay at the subject. B)

OMG Jeff at jail. :P Ha ha, just kidding with you guys, I'm not so surprise. Well Jeff is a good guy(without drugs), but when he get drugged, then.. well you can see at this topic. Now I can't imagine that Jeff was one of my favorite wrestlers. <_<

I think it sucks that Jeff can be such a good guy at times but can't help but mess up in the end. I hope the 30 Month probation keeps him clean but i wouldn't hold my breath on it
