This is of course little tongue in cheek as Jacob Cass was a created superstar from WWE ’12 – Road to WrestleMania. Stiil, this marks the second time Jacob Cass faced some disappointment from the WWE series. In the highly upgraded WWE 12, Cass failed to make the cut as a main roster character. Instead he was featured in that title’s Road to WrestleMania mode. As we reported earlier, WWE 12 marked quite a change in the development of the long running WWE series. That installment featured quite a range of changes that made for smoother gameplay. With that said, there has been speculation regarding whether the WWE brand and sizable fan base would be better served if the WWE game license was in the hands of a bigger developer like EA Sports. Talk about a slap in the face of THQ who has groomed the series and made quite a leap with WWE 12. You can’t please everybody-you just have to keep plugging along and keep improving your customers’ experience. That’s what the struggling THQ needs to do.
