With our final roster reveal this past Monday, it was awesome seeing the excitement for The New Day, Enzo and Cass, Mikey Whipwreck, and more. But it was clear that some in the community are frustrated by the lack of the newer Divas added to the main WWE roster recently.
 
We pushed as hard as we could to include Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley in WWE 2k16, but it simply did not work out for various reasons. While we are not divulging full details on WWE 2K16's post-launch plans just yet, we can confirm that the Four Horsewomen will not be available as DLC.
 
We are proud to have and built the largest WWE roster to date featuring the most Divas ever. The WWE 2K16 disc includes all of the Divas on the main roster at the time we locked it in (13 playable in total).
 
We all agree the Divas Revolution is great for business and look forward to celebrating the Divas even more in future WWE 2K titles.

Sasha should be in the game on the disc. They had plenty of fucking time to put her in. The rest could have easily been DLC. "It simply did not work out" translates to them saying "We're too fucking lazy but we'll put in Cameron, Eva, and Stephanie."

Props to them for being honest though, THQ would have kept everyone speculating in the dark for the longest time.

Everyone needs to remember that WWE has the final say on the roster, the simple fact that a Charlotte shirt is in the crowd is proof enough that they, or at least her, were supposed to be in the game. Someone from 2K also made a statement saying they wanted to put Cody Rhodes in the game but WWE declined it.

Don't blame 2k blame Vince/wwe yes she was scanned but they scan people all the time that doesn't mean they are in the game. Ryder was scanned last year and look how that was turned off. I know all of you are angry and rightfully so. You need to take to twitter and blow up Vince's twitter till you get a response. He doesn't care about the divas at all. Triple h does but Vince clearly doesn't.

How is it exactly that you have a game that you pride on the roster, yet you don't include 4 significant Divas that are in the WWE Currently? Fuck 2K. Shit is garbage. Wasn't going to buy the shit to begin with lol. But they lied. No duplicated stars yet you have 3 Undertakers, 2 Stephanies, etc.

PLEASE at least have Bliss as DLC! I also don't agree with having two Stephs or using Eva Marie if they won't include Sasha and Charlotte (of course, if they were to remove Eva Marie to make more room, at least someone would complain [correctly] that she was absent). Alas, at this point, the least that 2k can do is have their movesets and entrances somewhere in the game to properly recreate them (obviously, without their correct entrance MUSIC but, with all Created Content, beggars can't be choosers).

I guess that I'm not so much angry as confused. Sasha's and Carmella's profiles were up on the wwe2k16 roster page up until the last possible day.

 

I digress. We've established that Banks, Flair, Lynch, and...Bayley...AREN'T DLC this year (despite what I read earlier this week and I do apologize if I participated in repeating misinformation). This DOES make me wonder who WILL be DLC this year and when we'll hear more information about that.
