Let's hope this is true. 

 

it'll be awkward IF it still under Jim ross's commentary in ECW match. Hell,  last year's 2k15 they used Michael Cole instead of Jim Ross during Best Friends,  Bitter Enemies & Path of the warrior 2k showcase which I found out wasn't make any sense to me.

Sound like he did in the 90's and idk why they stopped with arena-specific commentary teams after svr 2010 tbh.

funny that we could still hear JR & King commentary during WCW matches (Austin vs Steamboat at Bash at the beach 1994).

Probably logistic. It's a lot less time consuming to record one team than three.

Yeah; if done properly, this could be awesome! It WAS really weird to here Michael Cole in "Showcase Mode" matches last year.

really? that really sucks especially when king never announced for wcw and JR had already been taken off of television by that time and replaced with Schiavonne and i forgot who else i think Heenan

yep very true from someone that's done voice over work for the last 10 years i know exactly how time consuming it can be

yeah that was cause for some odd reason WWE/Vince didn't want JR to be part of it. they actually didn't want JR part of austin mode this year but 2k convinced them that it wouldn't sound right if cole was announcing.
