Is there a way to "Win" or "Lose" career mode? Is there any point when you retire, and if so, when? Has anybody yet reached any kind of ending for career mode? I'd really love to know if I have anything left to do, or If it just goes on forever until I get bored! I hope someone has played enough to answer this question, because I have never seen any clues to the answer thus far

Has anyone gone 15 years to see if maybe there is some kind of an ending after that?

Thanks for no help from anybody on this! There is an ending to WWE2K17 career mode, but it kinda sucked when I forced my way there. After 15 seasons, Wrestlemania in the year 2031 is your final match. Before the match, they have the final story scene about wrestlers retiring, showing many famous retirements from Edge to Daniel Brian. However, I fought the match against Neville (was actually the main event of Wrestlemania I might ad, for what its worth) and I completely destroyed him on easy mode. Then, instead of the announcers praising me for a great career, or talking about my retirement, they were talking abou how I "Lost" the match and was dissappointed. I destroyed my opponent - it was no where near a loss. Then the Credits roll for about 10 minutes, after which it says "You have retired and are now in the Hall of Fame"! Then it just ends, and you are locked out of doing anything in that character's career mode except export him to the main game.

 

Very dissappointing they eliminated the short Hall of Fame induction scene from 2K16, but even more so that they messed up the aftermath of my final match. The ending was quite drab and bland, and hardly worth the trouble of forcing 15 years of time to pass. 

 

Would it be different if I had finished my last achievement before the final match? I'll have to try it out again sometime perhaps.

Hey man if I knew I would say something. I can't answer if I don't know and I won't google it if you could too. I haven't gotten that far yet but thanks for letting me know when it ends.

Its a fun ride for what little I have played. I think im like 2.5 years into my story.

It was nothing for players like you. I just have trouble believing that I'm the only one who went through 15 years just to see what would happen. Even then, though, I kept asking the official twitter guy if Career Mode had an ending, and have not even gotten an acknowledgement of my question. Very frustrating when official tweeters don't acknowledge the customers questions for the product they represent.
