I'm expecting Kurt Angle and Mickie James to return after a long absence from the series.

Dont see why not. They are well into the year before the roster cut off. While I do love Kurt im looking forward to Bobby Roode most.

Bobby Roode is definitely at the top of my list of new roster additions for 2K18! I'm also excited about the 205 Live guys being in (at least they should be in).

It always seems the game is already outdated at release, but last year was by far the worst in quite some time with all the Brand Split stuff happening last summer. That really hurt the game for me, and in addition to it not feeling much different than 2K16, I played the most recent game less than I have played a WWE game in years.

After mostly skipping out on 2K17, I plan on jumping back into 2K18 when it's released. Hopefully it will feel like a fresh game to me.

ROSTER:

"205 Live" (Cruiserweights) would be a nice addition (I can see them throwing in at least TJ Perkins as some of his finishers were already DLC in the last game, yet he strangely missed becoming DLC himself. I can see Neville and Aries both making comebacks. I'm also guessing The Brian Kendrick but this is all just speculation this far out. Hopefully many more).
Certain NXT superstars (male and female) would be awesome. (IE: Bobby Roode's inclusion would be...well...GLOR-I-OUS! I can also see Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kassius Ohno, Elias Samson, etc.)

I'm definitely hoping for Angle, James, and The Hardys.

UNIVERSE MODE:

I think having three different save slots last time around (in theory) was cool. It should occur again for those who want to do the brand split and those who honestly don't mind having multiple superstars on multiple shows. (For instance, "CAW me" is currently on four shows per week, with Raw being somewhere in the near future after he gets his feet wet on Smackdown and the "Legends and Legacies" show being a long way off for Mr. K$). That being said, we should be able to edit the date of Raw/Smackdown to the proper days of the week without deleting the show altogether, moving it to the CORRECT day, and having to rebuild its roster. Actually, this could just be avoided if Smackdown is placed on Tuesdays where it belongs this time around.

The inclusion of between match promos was cool last year. I'd kind of like to see that concept expanded into setting up backstage interviews/confrontations.

CREATION SUITE:

Keep what was in last year, bring back/expand on some of the stuff that missed last year (IE: "Create-a-Finisher" mode is due for a comeback and add submission style moves [or at least moves from the corner, moves toward a grounded opponent, etc.)

MATCH TYPES

I do kind of miss mixed-tag-team matches (they haven't been COMPLETELY nixed yet from weekly programming) and Guest Referee matches.

GENERAL

Allow mixed gender superstars to form teams again (if nothing else, a male superstar could have a female manager [or vice versa] and could have an appropriate entrance).

Of course; I had forgotten all about "Story Designer." Yes; it would be great to have it back.
