Former WWE and TNA star "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero (Elijah Burke) is apparently returning to TNA at the May Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando.

He had this exchange with Robbie E on Twitter this week:

Pope's last TNA contract expired on January 1st, 2013 and he announced on Twitter that he would not be re-signing. Since then, he has worked some indies, Ohio Valley Wrestling and World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico.

Guess that's good. It all depends on how he's used.

Pope was entertaining. But he'll probably be replacing Joe in the BDC.

I don't see any future for him in TNA after his last run to be honest .

Hope he does well for himself if this is true, I always liked Pope and I think another run at TNA would be great for him.
