With FIFA 15 being the cross-over game, this gives EA the chance to make bigger improvements focusing more on the next-gen consoles. What are you hoping to see improved in FIFA 16?

  • Manager Animations - As of now, we only have a handful of animations for the managers, seeing more would make the game feel a bit more real.
  • Surrounding the ref - In today's game, we see more and more players surrounding the referee to influence his decision, in my opinion this is a must.
  • Player Injuries - When a player gets injured, we see him limping off the pitch, even if it's a broken leg. Thus we need to see a stretcher animation or something similar.
  • Fan interaction - When scoring, sometimes players go and interact with the fans, whether it be jumping into them, or hitting their hands as they run along.
  • Gary Neville on commentary - He is needed.

So, what are your ideas?

I'd like to see a massive career mode overhaul. We've had the same thing for years and they didn't add any improvements in 15. In fact they took some features out of the mode thinking nobody would notice which is annoying as not everyone likes playing FUT. They should add a few features from Football Manager. Speaking of FUT, the price range crap is ridiculous so I hope they at least sort that out.

I don't mind the current Commentary too much, its not that repetitive but I do agree they should bring in Gary Neville as he's on Sky Sports commentary more than Alan Smith and it would be nice to have someone else.

I'd like to see more stadiums added too. They took a huge step in the right direction by fully licensing the Premier League in 15 so we get all 20 authentic stadiums. I'd love for them to do this for other leagues too.

As you suggested, Managers. Real managers. They always add manager cutscenes in the World Cup/Euro spinoffs but never in FIFA. Sure it would be crazy to scan every manager in the world but now they have fully licensed the PL, they could start by adding the PL managers first to try it out.

Ah of course a Chelsea fan would suggest this

These two specifically for me. Managers are cool and all, adding to the presentation and experience. But an in-depth career mode could really work. Like maybe you can have two options, a free career mode where you can go to any team like in 15 and a more, "progress your player up the ranks"-esque career mode. I don't like the fact that I can be in the starting 11 for a team like Barcelona very soon, I'd rather work my way up to that point.

And stadiums could really put the nail in the coffin for advancement. Maybe this year we'll get a full Serie A license

Return a bit to an arcade formula , specially for running and shooting .

The running mechanics while more realistic , they are less fun than in older games .

On the shooting matter , the feeling isn't like they are really shooting . My favorite football game, FIFA 08 for the Wii, was amazing due to the fact that the ball felt so alive and behaved so different whenever you shoot ... It was like it wasn't scripted and the ball moved depending on the situation .
