Many reports have been surfacing over the weeks on many facets of the development of the upcoming WWE 2K16, simulated professional wrestling video game from 2K, which is the successor to WWE 2K15.

Reports suggest that WWE star Goldberg wants to be part of the upcoming WWE 2K16 game. This news is based on a recent interview, where he reportedly commented on the new game that has not been confirmed officially as yet by its developer and publisher 2K.

Recently, during an interview on ESPN's SportsNation TV show, he said that he was being "politically correct" towards wrestling as he was awaiting a WWE video game. People have interpreted it as he wants to be part of the upcoming game.

Though Goldberg was a popular wrestler in WCW, he joined WWE in 2003 and wrestled for a year. He also headlined many pay-per-views for WWE. But he did not like his appearance on WWE and was vocal about Triple H, with whom he did not wrestle.

Given the tense relationship with WWE, he was not considered in 2K's WWE 2K15, but due to a deal with WWE, he appeared in 2013's WWE 2K14.

It looks like he is going soft as his kids want to see him wrestle again. He had an undefeated streak as world champion, an only one in the history of sports entertainment. It could be possible that players might be able to play him as a character in WWE 2K16.
